The beginning is just obnoxiously difficult. Stereotypical "spamming negative events = fun" that plagues so many custom Stronghold maps. You feel like you've found your grounding just to be swept away by four separate events occurring simultaneously.

It's just incredibly jarring because once you manage to survive the start, it's relatively easy.

Somehow I've got to the point of defeating Olaf, but the map is bugged. I made him my vassal and next attack waves were not attacking me since the units belonged to my vassal, lol. Nothing from there happend. I gathered required resources but could not attack the units, I guess because of that I got stock. But still I can recommend that map, although the beggining is brutal. You've got to spam traps and get archers on palisade ASAP. It's doable, but not likely on a first try :)

Needs gong pits, Or barley fields for popularty increase, or a bigger starting army. No matter what I do I die at the same point. And id there even a way to get stone?

Map doesnt show up. Instead its a copy of a map called Aidiel Ordeal v1.42
