@Wyvern - instead of trying Grimy's Loot Mod - use the updated version Tesla Rage's Loot Mod with ID 2814111896 - it is an updated reworked version, providing more compatibility. I am running this in place od Grimy's and can't complain.

I do not know however, how this here mod Weapon Upgrades Expanded WotC behaves with TeslaRage's Loot Mod if anyone knows - please leave a message.

Hi. Can we expect a compatibility patch or bridge between this lovely mod and Grimy's Loot Mod ?
Im about to finish my first LWOTC campaign and upgrading my modpack. Im currently using this mod which add very good prototype variants. But i also would like to try the Grimy's Loot Mod without separating myself from this mod :S

So after some investigation, this mod saves things it shouldn't to UISLs and thus will cause random garbage collection crashes for people, with no way to fix it without rewriting the mod.

To awnser the Question of can you add prototype mods via console. Yes if you put in the normal code for original weapon mods but add Ptr at the end and how much you want

If the continental bonus or other resistance card increases the efficiency of weapon upgrades by one level, the reload count will be reduced to one.

So for some reason your prototype attachments (which are identical to the other vanilla tiers) are not visible many of my weapons. Is there a way I can make them visible?

This ruins laser sights, it adds something like a -25% hit chance when you equip them, something like 5% would be a lot more reasonable

With this mod, i added two stocks on a weapon, prototype stock and one superior stock, this combination gives a 9 damage on a "missed shot".

Seens like a good mod but the repeater ability to instant kill chance needs to be change for...like add extra crit dmg. That would be best for gameplay because come on killing a chosen with 20 hp and 2 point of armor with a basic pistol shot?

Instead of AddItem AimUpgrade_Sup 10 (using 10 as the number of items you want), add _Prt instead of _Sup.

This works with the Resistance Card/Continent Bonus/ect that boosts Weapon Mod abilities right? So those Prototype mods will also be 20?

To add to my previous post, I have the Inside Knowledge bonus, which boosts the effects of weapon modifications. Am I correct in guessing the the Prototype Auto-Loader is set to 0, which gives you unlimited reloads, and Inside Knowledge is increasing it by 1, which makes it give only one free reload?

I've run into a problem with the Prototype Auto-Loader: the first reload is free, but after that reloads cost action points. I put it on a Beam Cannon if that matters.

Before I started my campaign I wiped the config and then entered different prototype values using the mod config tool. I got a prototype repeater and it had 20% kill, but I set it at 15% earlier, why do you think this happened? I got the correct ability that goes with it, but the % is off.

If you set the Prototype Expanded Magazine bonus to 0, does it give unlimited clip size, like setting the auto loader to 0 gives unlimited free reloads?

i found like 4 Such files by searching on my windows NONE of em had Basic 10 ( all were 5 as is in vanila) are you sure that the right ini? If so where is that? In the Xcom WOTC folder? In My Documents config one?

I think the Prototype Auto-Loader is incompatible with the Free Reload Anytime mod. The Free Reload button doesn't appear on the weapon, and the standard reload button acts like a normal reload costing 1 action. This is probably due to how Free Reload Anytime seperates out reload types, and I'll probably just remove that mod. Thanks :)

I tried an ini fix, but I couldn't get it to work, so I'm going to see if I can use the Community Highlander to patch the loot tables if both mods are present.

It just gives them the standard ability, so no charges if it has a cooldown by default.

As in the abilities that the prototype attachments grant. Like does the Prototype Repeater give a once a mission use of Chain Shot or is it just giving them the ability, cool down and all?

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking. Prototype upgrades behave exactly like the base game upgrades, except some also grant abilities.
