Turns out, all you have to do in Arma 3 is hold the LMB until you want to cycle the bolt :-)

Oh, so it's specific to certain guns? Damn. I guess what I need, then is like 1 round magazines for all the bolt action guns that I want to just do manual cycling, which would become the reload. You think that'd work?

just download this mod: Weapon Eventhandler Framework version 1.2

and this mod: NIArms AWM Rifles

then just use the snipers from NIArms AWM Rifles, and you will have manual bolt

I'm the production manager of Arma Mod France; we are actually building a French Army Mod with vehicles, uniforms, weapons...
We tested your Weapon Eventhandler Framework which is just awesome !! It's more than Bohemia did and as a lot of community modders think, it's a shame that they did not created that before for Marksman DLC.
Apart from the fact that animations were lacking at the visual level, the fact that we can rechamber only if we leave the sight of optics is a plus in terms of realism and as some have pointed out, it allows to see the impact of the ball instead of rechambering directly.
It's just great !! So first thanks a lot for the great job and as you can imagine we would like to use your scripts with our bolt action rifles (we actually have imported the FRF2 and PGM Hecate II from French Army).

Of course, you'll be in our credits as all our helpers.

okay man i appologize however i have gotten 1 more question. When ever i am trying to add an insignia in ANY senario, the insignia never shows up, be-it in game or in the visualizer. Any idea about what is going on?

by subsim, i mean it is a submarine simulator. in my case it is set in the pacific theater, wwii.

it is a subsim. is excellent and the modding is hard as hell. am trying to do a webseries-an alternate history of WWII and comparison of the diffent types of video games. at least arma is easy to mod

the updates should be automatic, however, if not, you can simply delet your old files and reinstall ACE from workshop:
