This scoreboard only supports colours per-player and per-group, it wasn't really designed for DarkRP derived gamemodes so there's no job support.

I don't have the time, nor the motivation to work on it. I might come back to it in the future and improve it, but I'm not making any promises as to when.

I've had this issue before myself, it happens because of conflicting addons or sometimes the scoreboard :hide() and :show() functions aren't properly called. A simple reboot can sometimes help with this, although I can imagine it's probably a conflicting addon.

it wouldnt let me put stuff in the github so the issue is that the scoreboard says there is script errors and when i open the scoreboard it cant close it and its stuck

I managed to sort it out. Turns out I was doing a big dumb. For the colour and immunity variables I was still using GroupName instead of GroupColor and GroupImmunity :p Should be careful with my copying and pasting next time :D

There doesn't appear to be any Lua errors in the console. The config file must be the one being called though because after I deleted it the scoreboard didn't show up at all, and went back to colourless and groupless player listings after adding it back in

Try check the server console for Lua errors too, I might've missed something or it might be somewhere else other than in the config file. (somesort of parsing issue in the actual scoreboard file)

From the looks of he config file, nothing is wrong. Dd you restart the server after making the changes?

I ended up finding the lua file and made some edits to it, but I must've done something wrong. Groups no longer are listed and everyone's box is grey. Here's what I did [imgur.com].

The names between the square brackets are exactly how they appear in ULX. What have I done wrong exactly?

yeah it's all editable in the lua config file (lua/autorun/shared/sh_viralsscoreboard.lua) or in the !viralsscoreboard admin menu.

Hey there, is it possible to set different colours for different ranks? Server I co-run basically has none of the standard ranks so everyone's name box is grey. Is this editable? Thanks

Sadly not, no. However I recall there being a console command/convar to mute certain players voice, but maybe there isn't. If not you could always use the Clientside Lua method to mute a player with Player:SetMuted(bool). (http://wiki.garrysmod.com/page/Player/SetMuted)

Hey i have a few question about the scoreboard.

The scoreboard will use ULX ranks, if you want to make someone a superadmin install ulx and in the console type: "ulx adduser <the players name here> superadmin", there are also other admin mods avaliable but ULX is the most widley used.

Is there a way using the developer console or server console to make someone a superadmin?

Those are per user configurations. For example if you wanted a specific player, not rank/group to have a different color from the rest then you would use that.

This error only is occurring for some people, and i think it may be related to opening the scoreboard before it is fully setup on the client.

I cannot fix errors that don't occur for me. Although I do try.

Mercury must have it's own system them, because I'm calling PLAYER:IsSuperAdmin() and that's the Garry's Mod base super admin rank which is what other systems use.

I'll try add Mercury support but theres no guarantee as i've never used it before.

Using Mercury - even though through Mercury I'm Super Admin and Admin, !viralsscoreboard returns that I need to be a Super Admin.

Its the connection speed in milliseconds from your client to the server host. Basically its the latency your experiencing, a low ping is good and it means you shouldn't suffer any network related lagging issues such as "rubber banding" and i high ping means you will probably throw your computer out the window from suffering insufferable torture... Hope this helped
