So it's the Flat Earth map.
Only one that comes close is Got Lakes mod but again, to much water and it takes alot of restarts and fiddling with options to make a resemblance of civ5 highlands type map.
So if you are still interested in making civ6 maps, highlands civ5 map script is what i crave for.
Fantastical map script doesnt do it either, it lacks options and it always ends up bland.
So i guess this more a request then anything else :D
Gaia good but yet again, to much water.
I see a lot of mod requests on /r/civ (reddit) or on the civfanatics forum. You could try there :)
That said, I'd also love to see civ played out on a globe but its impossible with Civ 6's map system / engine.
Currently it’s only GS but I may release an update soon with versions for RF and vanilla given a few people have asked.
I also have a map script I haven’t really marketed anywhere called “Gaia Map Script”, which generates a mix of large and small continents. It generates a pretty unique map each time so it doesn’t feel as same-y as the vanilla continents map.
Check it out in case you’re interested!
Due to the ice melt mechanic and other new additions from Firaxis, and a number of key learnings I've made since releasing the map, I ended up completely re-writing the map script.
There were some features that had to be disabled as I'll need more time to do them properly - i.e. the hemisphere option.
Great map idea. Im sure its fun to play. :)
Stay posted.
also both mods work seperatly, just not in combination.
