planet is now on 21 tiles, previously it was on 19, so i can confirm that the mod still works.

yeah, that's what i was planning to do next. just hoped that someone might already have tested this so i can save myself a little bit of work, lol
i'll report back with my findings probably in a couple hours, if i don't forget it.

Honestly, I don't know since I haven't played to Stellaris for a long time. I may check that after the next update.

Just check the number of tiles on the planet you built the terraformer every 4 years.

does anyone know if this still works with the newest version of the game? i can still build the terraformer building but i have no idea if it's actually doing something or not.

Will you ever be releasing a version that the AI can use?
Gray Death 2017
@Joe9719s Maybe limited by terraforming resources?
This is a great mod and better than most planet resizing mods as it makes you spend resources to improve you planets but it could be slightly unbalaances. Would the mod be more balanced in if the buildingis made empire unique or limit the number that can be bulit at once to a small number if possible as this would cut down the the amount of planets that can be increased at once and would IMO reduce how OP the mod can be.

Nope, but it should be fixed. Tell me if it's ok.
Rubi 2017
So I have the mod installed, and it works unless you are a machine race/empire. Is that intentonal?
Prolbo 2017
Nice. Interesting idea. I think that I should look at it.

Maybe to cut down it's OP-rating it make sense to add some limits? More energy/minerals for each next tile and limited amounts of tiles added? Say 4 for Terraformer I, 7 for T II and 10 for T III? Ofc T II & T III is unique tech. Or the much tiles already exist, the less can be added and the price is higher.
How about that idea?
Yeah, I know that's OP. I think I'll decrease the terraforming speed to 1 tile every 10 years, up base cost to 500, and add an advanced version, unlocked with a rare tech, that goes 2 times faster, costing 800 minerals, with 2.5 times the upkeep, and possibly requiring terraforming gases and fluids.
I think 300 Minerals is really cheap for what it does. I'd say it should cost about 1k Minerals and Energy Credits. After all, it's a long-term building, and should be something you have to save up for. After all, it can make a 10-tile planet a 25-tile planet within about 60(math needs checking) years, which is a rather short amount of time. If it's possible, it should be a rare tech that's unlocked in the Terraforming Tech Tree, considering how poweful it is.

Otherwise, I think this is a pretty cool mod, and a neat concept.
