Ah so Ravenfield is upgrading to Unity Version 2019 etc? So thats good news but not for this map. Despite its crashing so much, you know how to do map-level design.

This map is still way too heavy with performance. I did my best to optimize it as much as possible and even sadly remove some of details and props.

Unfortunately though, Raven field will soon switch to a recent version of Unity and this map will probably not work 100% anymore due to certain textures not loading. It was good while it lasted.

BLACK SCREEN AND CRASH

This map worked a total of once for me. Now it loads to a black screen with some distorted music playing and stays like that. Clicking the screen causes the entire game to crash

The map is already optimized. The rest is sadly out of my control. I can't go above 25fps with 100 bots here.

Lags like hell.

I don't know what it is about this map, but for the first, like, 20 seconds, the framerate is completely fine. But after that, the FPS just dips to an unplayable level, regardless of how many bots I'm playing with. Seriously. Tried it with 180 bots, tried it with 20. The FPS drop is there and it always happens. At random intervals, the FPS goes up to a more playable level, but it doesn't last very long. Goes right back to unplayable.

My specs:

RTX 2060 Super
i7 8700k
32 GB RAM
Game is on an SSD

wow i was not expecting this kind of map on the ravenfield workshop. most of the maps are small unintresting maps you get bored of after 6 games but this, this is beutiful

This map is really good for slow paced, infantry combat at 150-200 bots

Perfect for a zombie outbreak map.

The AI is able to use the ladders on the platforms in the river while I cannot. I don't know if this is intentional or not but I just wanted to let you know about it.

It's updated now. If this doesn't solve the issue though, I don't know what will. Ravenfield itself needs more optimization updates anyway.

Huh! In the latest update I've added a few lights and increased the quality of pathfinding. Maybe I should revert those changes.
In my case though I only get frame drops when the entire map is displayed on screen.

i think its something to do with the Park point or at least something in that area

it used to be super well optimized but now i get a lot of big frame drops

idk if its the map or the current build of ravenfield

for some reason, every game after the Eagles take the first point, my FPS experiences massive drops and I can't figure it out
