Just curious if this will be updated for the Definitive Edition. The Inn map is great and was hoping to make a murder mystery in it.

@y3ftw hey I figured it out, when you click prepare on the dm mode menu you have to click the cog for each individual campaign and enable it there as well

this addon appears in the menu but the contents of the addon are not accessible in game, they arent showing up in the templates when creating a scene is there something I have to do? Thanks!

@magik I haven't played DOS2 in months now after being sorely disappointed with the GM Mode, so I doubt I'll be making any new maps. Sorry, but glad you're liking the maps I have made.

@★ TheAlmightyOne That is a possibility, but for my games, I prefer to have several smaller levels as opposed to single large levels. It makes controlling the story much easier because I make players roleplay looting, etc. I am planning on creating more small/medium-sized dungeons, but were I to make a larger dungeon it would be after I finished the levels I need for my own campaign.

Maybe the next level could be a labyrinth or a slightly larger dungeon complex as you currently have to build it from many different cells and have to load new parts all the time.

@★ TheAlmightyOne I thought the GM could override the sounds via the mood panel. I can't reduce the volume (that I am aware of) but I will remove the sound for the next update.

Can you reduce or remove the cricket sounds from the abandoned campsite? They trigger on every step and i would like to use the mood panel for my own sounds. I really like this mod and your levels are amazing, it's a tiny thing but i can't change it myself.

@JimmyNickels I've actually been playing around with that idea! I attempted to take an existing GM Mode village level and create a destroyed one, but they way it is designed makes it really difficult to do. I may offer that for some of my own levels. I've been working on some variations to some of my levels including different seasons (sunny version, wintery version, etc.) so I may add destroyed versions to my to-do list.

I would like to see a few scenes with a normal and destroyed version, ie a normal villiage and a post raid / seige version.

New update coming soon. Working on a makeshift battle arena where patrons watch unfortunate souls battle to the death. I am also including my Castle Courtyard level but in a winter setting.

When I select the "add new location" thing, none of my subscibed maps ever show up, the mods are enabled, anyone know what I am doing wrong here?

@ramzius I don't know, honestly. I know one player can play more than one character, but I think they only get to create a single character during character creation.

@ramzius You just have to click the gear icon before loading a campaign in Prepare Mode and then navigate to the add-ons menu and click the checkbox for Custom GM Levels.

Hi, sorry for lack of knowledge but how do I add these maps to my GM? Do I replace the .pak file with the one in my game folder? will it delete any GM's maps that I have created? THX

Oh, and walls are one of the more complicated part of the editor. They kind of have a mind of their own sometimes.

@GVoo None of my maps have a background, actually. You can't actually add that in the editor, but you just have to make the outer map big enough and manage the camera controls enough that things are hidden. I plan to fix that a bit better on the Courtyard map because it bugs me! Haha

thank you @slickCJL and @CuznJay but i also wonder why we are not given the ability to build stuff like walls. Wouldn't that be relativly easy to do?
Oh and btw i noticed at the castle courtyard exterior that there is no background. the walls hide that relativly well but it looks strange anyway :steamhappy:

@GVoo I'm not sure if you know, but objects have to placed in the open THEN they can be placed more closely to other objects. I'm not sure why thats the case but.

That's rad @SlickCJL! I kinda envisioned it as an important room used for some nefarious purpose like you're describing. Glad you found a use for it. I should have a simple farmhouse basement level uploaded later tonight. It's really tiny, but its something I needed for my campaign and figured I'd share it anyway.

I used that new Dungeon Room as a secret shrine to a werewolf, in which people come to complete their atonement and become great Lycans. Acted as a little boss room, was awesome. I'm refreshing this page daily haha, loving the work.
