Kurkuza, I've played in previous SS games with APRM,SSNM, RWM mods and i'm still waiting update for Moding tools to continue working on my mod.

are u familiar with the mods of the previous sudden strikes? you can use some of the ideas of the other games.....i know that modding SS4 is limited because you cannot modify or add anything for now

look for next version of my mod in workshop. WW2 MRM v.0.2(reworked and added some allied units)
unfortenatelly, i don't know how to make a workshop update for my mod.

For now we have some limitations in modding. Also we don't have any documentation. And I don't clearly understand how the damage system works. For example, any tank has just hull armour, but I don't see any parameters that responsible for turret, only rotation speed. Maybe it's hidden. I hope,developers will give us much more possibilities in future. About visible distance - all infantry units in my mod has vision 100, tanks - 75, but some SPG with open turret has also 100, because they're outside). Officer - 120.

Bigger distance - is the right way! Accordingly to it it may be necessary to correct visibility distance.
It would be great if You cancel HP bars too and go to more realistic model of damage, as it is in RWG mod for SS2 or in Syrian Warfare.
There is another tip, which was in SS2 and is lost in SS4. In SS2 it was possible to click on a truck with soldiers or a gun and then click on the place where You want to unload them, and truck moved to that place and unloaded there. In SS4 it's impossible: truck unloads strictly where it stays.
And what about shell box?
And what about returning engineers instead of common soldiers, who are able either shhot, or place mines?

With such modifications you move the action(graphics) and the possibility to react properly(gameplay) out of sight. So I still do not get it how to play...
Only thing I can do this is by selecting all units, send them up and let's see what the AI can do out of it. Pretty funny massaker though, specially while the allies didn't get any modifications and are nothing but cannon fodder - like in those "famous" realism mods in SS2 I guess? ;)

nubis , thx for your feedback. I think, a bigger distance is much more realistic. Because original game has a C&C style battle. And with bigger distance I can impement scatter. As it was in real life. And all famous mods for SS2 has bigger distance too. But, distance, that I've implemented now is not finall. Maybe, it will be changed.

where's the point having units look further(like double distance) than the actual screen?
I tried this and only thing you do is scroll back and forth if you actually try to micro a little bit.
How is this meant to be played?
