That aside though it looks like a pretty cool mod. It seems like a lot of really cool pony mods have been coming out lately...it just frustrates me that these mods didnt come out back when I was still really into pony stuff. For me my Brony status faded some time ago, but there is still a small twinge of affection inside me for the show, characters, and fandom that sometimes comes up whenever I see a piece of custom art or a mod for a game of mine like this one. Even though I wont be downloading it myself, I've given it an upvote.
Even though I may myself have "left the herd" per say, I hope you guys keep having fun, keeping the fandom alive, and using your uniwue talents to make things like this.
For old time's sake I'm going to do something I havent done in what feels like ages xD
Cheers /)
I have horses as a requirement for alot of the pony mods I've made. You need ponies to make them, and breathes life into a resource that is dead pretty early in the game. That is never going away. Also it stops you from building them in mass.
I can't create my own abilities for civ factions. They have to be present in the database. If something isn't there, I can't use it. It was true when I made these, dunno about nowadays.
I wouldn't call this one the best, or near best. It does the job. I'm actually happy how it plays in the hands of the AI, as it is very strong and dominating even though they shouldn't.
Seriously though, this is so close to being an amazing mod!
I'd kill the extra movement and make the worker 25% more effective or kill the increased speed entirely and just make it move three spaces, remove the bonus to farms and plantations, and remove the horse requirement for the stackable farm.
I was right about you. And *yawn*, your juvenile trolling tactics are boring.
So now you're easily offened, a liar, a cloest brony, and boring. Wow. And you came here to insult me, but yet we find out soooo much about you!
Oh, and step up your troll game next time, child. I'm waaaaaaaaaay out of your league. Now, go on, cry home to your daddies. Tell them that the big bay starman made you feel feelings.
So stop lying to yourself. Only children feel shame, so stop feeling it.
They're quite an unassuming civilization. Tthey look silly, but they can grow fast (especially with high difficulty AI bonuses, holy cow!). And high population = more science, money and production.
Out of the three pony factions, they're definitely the strongest. By a long shot even. Although I need to play as the Unicorns and Pegasi before I confirm this.
The Earth Ponies have tended to grown dangerously large in my games too. Maybe their UA is that powerful. After all, it's effective from the moment you improve your first non-hill (Unless said hill is next to a river and you make it a farm hill). So yeah, it could be viewed as a hidden downside.
And when I think about it, it might not be too bad of ahidden downside. The Earth Ponies can settle in the middle of a desert with no river/oasis and still grow pretty good. Them +2 farm tiles early game and +3 when Fertilizer. +3 food and +2 production from desert hil lrivers is pretty darn good too! And as previously stated, the Unique Worker is one heck of a powerful UU. It's around all the time and that extr amovepoint changes so much. And I think it might be impossible to steal as another civ since it might turn into a normal worker (Must try this to confirm).
@David, I have no idea why it would say that, which version are you using?
Once again, a fun mod, and possibly one of the literally most useful UU's out there XD. also, when you capture another worker, it becomes a Smart Cookie Farmer. Is that intended?
1. The Stackable Farm does not allow Internal Trade Routes for Food. This takes away a powerful utility that is not mentioned. It could very well be a balance thing, but it's something that caught my eye. I would say the 1 less initial food and horse requirement might be enough balance. But then again, +13 food internal ships might just break it upside its knees.
2. This is more universal and something I've noticed in all your pony civs. In the Cultural window where you see how much tourism you've inflicted on the other civs, the civ icon for your civs shows a recoloured America icon (This is not the case with HaraldB's mods) and the same goes for the little icon in the World Congress screen next to the civ leader's name. It's trivial, but again, it caught my eye.
