Can you fix it so horses always drop hides and meat as well? Thanks!

I agree. I would like to see goat horns drop as well.

Also, afaik (as far as I know) toes are not used in anything that would be game-breaking to have a lot of. It would simply be more convenient.

Thank for you this, I always thought it ridiculous that clams didn't give pearls.
I think Bethesda goofed up, and meant for them to be obtainable from clams, as they were in Morrowind AND Oblivion.

Also, with the giant's toes, would it be possible to actually make them drop say 5-10 toes, but make them worth 1/7.5 as much? 7.5 because it's right between 5-10 and would average out to be the same value overall.

Just to be clear, pearls were supposed to be added as loot to clams. In the Creation Kit pearls and small pearls can be found in the object list under Items=>Ingredient=>CLUTTER=>Ingredients=>Clam and are the only 2 ingredients in this category.

I don't think it was intentional. In Morrowind, you could harvest pearl from clams/shellfish. Merchant perk: "Can SELL any type of item to any kind of merchant" Obviously not...
Besides in the vanilla version they are way too rare to be of any use, and I gave them a "drop" rate of about 20%, making them still rare.

the lack of pearls in clams was intentional. you have to get the merchant perk to purchase them.

@Sjejfke -- I just think lore-wise, more Toes should be available for harvest from slain giants. Assume they have feet like humans, each foot would have 5 toes and thus 10 total available for harvest (minus any that are destroyed in the fighting). Now, if potions called for Giant's Big Toes, then there would be one from each foot available (2 total from a slain giant) assuming of course that they weren't destroyed in the fighting.

I just thought it was weird that every single giant only yields one Toe.

@Grawderu Wow thanks for the spoiler. -.-
Sjefke  [作者] 2012 年 2 月 19 日 上午 5:34
Just checked in CK and Toes are indeed considered rare. Besides this there are other much more common ingredients with the same effects available. Are you using toes for any specific potions?
Sjefke  [作者] 2012 年 2 月 19 日 上午 5:30
@jokerfish: I think Giant's Toes are supposed to be a pretty rare ingredient, more than 1 could be considered, but 10 would overdo it.
@Grawderu: The blessing gives 20% cooldown reduction, but because they decided to use a variable where 1 = 100%, it removes 0,20 from this variable. This 0,20 is then used in the message, so it actually says 0,20% which is then rounded down to 0. I only changed the message to display 20 instead of 0.

It always bugs me that slain Giants only yield 1 Giant's Toe. It makes more sense to drop some random number between 2 and 10 Giant's Toes.

Hey, thanks for that fix!
Sjefke  [作者] 2012 年 2 月 14 日 下午 3:07
If you have any more loot issues ingame or think some loot should be rebalanced, let me know!
Gerbik 2012 年 2 月 14 日 下午 1:02
Nice, glad to know that I wasn't the only one annoyed by the badly implemented drop ratios for some items. Subscribed!
