This or something similar needs to be in the base game. Dependency handling and ordering is also a major issue when adding mods to a world.

In v1.199.025 (Oct 2021), when grinding down this rack, you can no longer enter inventory screen. Buggy.

Glad to see you're still supporting this... can you PLEASE upload your mod to mod.io, we would really love to have this on xbox... this is a must have mod...

This mod *still* works. I am using it currently.

Something I noticed: nearby block damage (when destroyed) will toss the guns about off the rack... might be related to how the mod accomplishes displaying the weapons in the first place.

Just observation. Your weapon rack mod is preferred over the decorative DLC version, and over the 'Hayestech' weapon rack, which just shows vanilla rifle.

Having it too. Once I place or take anything from the weapon rack the terminal system breaks and I have to relaunch the game to get it working again.

anybody experiencing issues using this mod with wolves or spiders enabled?

People stop calling a mod "dead" please, it takes only few minutes to update it.
It is only irritating to keep doing it so often thanks to keen mod-breaking updates.

@woostyboy, the mod was last updated over a year ago, all the changes and fixes the game and code have undergone have probably broken some underlying thing with the mod, and it no longer works as intended.

Seems to be a bit buggy. It locked out all inventory functions.

How did you get the mod to include that script with it when uploading? When I eventually am able to get to point of making my own gear storage for weapons on my list I'd like to be able to apply a similar feature to them too.

Can this mod be modified to also be used to hold tools?

Hi Eikester, this mod is awesome and I love it. But when in use it make looting spider corpses almost impossible. I have to click dozens of times before a spider corpse will open for me to loot. Any idea why that is happening?

May i include this in a weapons overhaul mod im working on? with credit and a link given ofcourse :) Shoulder fired photon torpedo launcher needs a nice place to sit

Lovely update!! U've got my fav Btw, I have CMDBob's mod for weapons, and the can't be loaded in the weapons rack. I think it might be because they are keept as non-weapon tools. Could you make one for tools, or upgrade this to admit also different kinds of tools and weapons?

OK, Solution. Unfortunately in my case it resulted in one of my ships just utterly vanishing, but remove the rack mod save the game after it has cleared then add the mod back. Fixes the CTD problem

Same here as @DMMWolf, sorry about that. Most of the mods get wrecked by the recent two big updates. Even so, I'll keep it in case Eikester decides to update it.

@Eikester The most recent update broke your Weapon Rack as a heads up. Can no longer see the weapons there on the rack. Are you still active in modding? or Do we need to see if we can get someone to pick up the mod? Hope you are doing well.

I have a bug with de weapon rack, i wanted to remove it from the game so i grinded it down and wanted to put the materials in a cargo container but it would not let me, i rebuild the weapon rack and got access to the cargo container, grinded the rack agian and agian no acces to the cargo container.
this is in combination with the BOX_IR mod

Hey Eikester, I am trying to build a small PVP map for multiplayer. I plan on having hidden containers filled with guns and ammo, but I can't find a good way to stop people from abusing this sytem and taking lots of guns at a time. Could you consider making a variant of this that can be piped up and able to move guns directly from a cargo container to a rack? Additional options to limit how quickly the guns are replaced would be awesome as well, but I don't know if that's too much to ask. Anyway, (insert shameless flattery) your mods are awesome and I hope you have a good day.
