@Arthur Morganツ I'm guessing you've never heard of the American Crocodile, a true crocodile whose range overlaps with the jaguar, and, while not commonly, is in fact, eaten by jaguars.

@Mbw32 It wouldn't win, Deinosuchus's neck was too wide, Deinosuchus would probably walk into the water and spin onto it's back, breathing with its mouth until the Jaguar got off or drowned.

@Mbw32 They'd probably do the same thing they do to south american crocs, pounce them on the back, claw into their hide to keep its footing and bite down on their neck till either it suffocates or if it's in water it drowns from being too focused on getting the big cat off of it, it's not that the jaguar can take a bite (it can't) it's that it can out smart the croc.
