Not really a bug just an odd interaction I wanted to share. I got a bio trooper as my ADVENT helper for a mission, we go in, snake pulls her out of position and wraps her, I get the "______ will join XCOM after the mission" popup in the corner but she was at full health so I was like "wtf? okay?" then she turns into a faceless! So I guess the biotrooper got scared and ran off and a faceless took her place without us noticing but she's gonna join XCOM anyways.

@ThePhantomIntheTypewriter (as well as anybody else wondering about this) - You can add additional head options by editing the mod's XComContent.ini file. E.g. if you want the hybrid heads from Jsleezy's Repurposed Gear to be available to your hybrid soldiers, take the relevant BodyPartTemplateConfig lines from JRG's ini, paste them into this mod's ini, and edit them so they match the RM_HybridSoldier character template like this:

Tried to run this with exvent, instead of getting either a hybrid or an exvent soldier, you can get both by capturing 1
Meaning, yes you get 2 soldiers for capturing 1

Heads/faces from another mod are confirmed to be selectable for regular skirmishers, but, alas, not these hybrids.

Raizen- EXVENT soldiers are generated more like faction heroes than standard soldiers, so you won't be able to give them the EXVENT classes. (But the two mods can be used in tandem.)

troopercon- the game decides at the point of capture whether you are getting a captive to interrogate or a new hybrid soldier.

Is there a way to make their heads selectable? There are skirimisher-like head in Elf Heads mod, I tried to add those to these hybrids but to no avail - the menu to select face simply doesn't show up!

Update: Stun/Fulton combo confirmed working with LWotC. It took like 10(or more?) tries but I finally got an advent advanced(tier 2?) officer that started as a LCpl Ranger with standard stat spread. It tells you instantly when you fulton one out if it's recruited.

They DO, however, all start with 12 mobility instead of 15 as normal LWotC classes, and 1 less utility slot, so make sure to edit the XComGameData_CharacterStats.ini where the readme says to set their mobility to 15 and utility=2 for the extra slot.

Is this fully LW2/LWotC compatible? I've extracted a LOT of unconscious troopers so far and recruited none. The recruit hybrid covert mission works just fine with no issues, so I know it's at least partially LW compatible.

Could you change how stats work with recruited hybrids? As is, they have base plus the last promotion. As in, I recruited a Colonel tier hybrid, but instead of getting all the stats for the entire level up tree, he only got the stats for the last promotion. Instead of the expected 65 + 12 = 77 aim, he came with 65 + 2 = 67 aim.

@Ori: That is vanilla behaviour and has nothing to do with this mod; you only get one hero from each faction, along with a second hero from your starting faction. After that you only get replacements for killed or captured heroes. You can use the mod 'Recruit Multiple Heroes From All' to change that.

Not sure if it's intended but I can't seem to get additional regular Skirmishers from Covert Ops, I got 3 of the non-Skirmishers so far back to back in my run. I like the variety but, is there any setting in place I can adjust to make the likelihood of getting Skirmishers higher?

I just got three of these guys from a non-human rookies scan and they didn't come with the mark target.

Did come with the elevated hack and *very* low will.

Also, can i somehow prevent these units from being generated with the Skirmisher flag, or maybe even replace it with another one? I find it a bit immersion-breaking to have people who didn't make the cut/didn't want to become Skrimishers wear their flag.

So, the TLP attitudes don't seem to work with Non-Advent Hybrids. Is this something you could fix, or can you tell us how (if) we can fix it ourselves?

Hey this mod seems awesome, but so far I haven't been able to recruit a single Hybrid soldier, even though I started at Skirmisher HQ and did lots of ops for them already. Any tips?

I love this with Double Agent. I regularly evacuate them just on the chance that they might be recruited. Only seems to work when they're evacuated though.

Note on Previous Post:
You could use that as a Lore Idea as perhaps the Chosen have Adapted the Gate to Keep Any Advente Network Connected Soldiers from enter the chamber without direct permission. Sort of like a Child safety lock. tThat way the CHosen can regenrate without interuption. The Hybrids still have their original chips while the Skitmishers have had theirs removed so the system doesn't recognise them as a minion.

Still would be nice to fix.

I seem to having a similar issue to a presious poster , I have been doing "non human intel scanning" and getting humans as my reward , anyone any ideas ? .. also If I wanted t reward myself witha rookie hybrid what is the command in the console to do that please ?

Minor bug:

Taking a Hybrid on a Chosen Stronghold mission. The Hybrid is not recognised by the Ascension Gate, and is returned to the Avenger.

Is it possible to get them to be compatible with skirmisher/soldier voices? Randomly generated ones sometimes do get a random soldier voice, but when opening customization it locks them into the two skirmisher voices.

Yes I have the "Advent Voice Pack" that doesn't get added to their list of voices either!

I have a number of these units in my current playthrough. I just recruited one from the BM, a max rank PSI. Works great except for 1 thing. 28 will. On a max rank char. I understand the -10 will you mentioned in the description, but 28 for a max rank char when others have 70. Do the "new" stats factor in rank? Did I just get unlucky?
