Key word: "chance"
The description ingame is wrong, and should be changed. Idk how to change it myself. I am pretty sure that if you do kill the target, the chance of being detected lowers significantly, however every shot/kill will still raise the detection chance, just like reapers. The tier of the suppressor and weapon you are using will also greatly affect the chances of detection. This is probably so you don't just stealth kill the entire map. I do not know if returning back to stealth resets the detection chance or not. If you do want to stealth kill the entire map, your best bet is to bring a full squad of soldiers skilled in remaining in stealth with advanced or superior suppressors, as I am pretty sure it tracks everyone separately.
If I hit and kill it drops to 50. Before lwotc build 3 (and in the LW2 version if I recall correctly) it was 50 dropping to 25 for a kill. I'm able to roughtly get it to work by modifying the
XComStealthOverhaul file. Changing the ConcealmentLoss values from 0,-10,-20 to -50,-60,-70 seems to get it to work roughly as intended. There is still an issue with killing last pod
member not resetting the chance to reveal and the chance to reveal does not seem to drop over time either. Not sure if this is down to a mod conflict or changes to the stealth system which LWOTC made around the same time. Has anyone else experienced this same issue?
Everytime i hpress the attack button on a Reaper with suppressor attached while iam concealed (start of the misson normaly) and go back from the aiming visuals the screen now is stuck in this appearance. Its all dark accept a tiny light dot at the right corner. Like the Reaper visuals when you are in shadow and shot somebody. Thats not so nice but its not gamebracking. Just leave the suppressors for others classes i think.
Please fix it, this mod used to be amazing!
