Absolutely cannot get this quest to work no matter how many times I load it. It crashes 9 out of 10 times (rather than 1 out of 10 as suggested) and even in the one time it doesn't crash, if I save it to reload later, reloading the saved game crashes the scenario. Shame though as this scenario sounds fun from what I've read!

Very challenging. Took me a while to be able to survive the constant monster onslought. I kept the elves until past 30 days before switching to dwarves. The elves economic boost kept me alive along with the level 3 marketplace. My only issues with this quest is firstly the glitches and errors which are unlike anywhere else I've seen in majesty. Secondly the quest gets pretty easy if you can survive past day 30 or so when you should be getting dwarves. The boss fight at the end with Rhoden was tedious due to his high health but not difficult.

I beat the quest - very very slowly.

I rolled
Palace SW - Elves to north, wizard's to northeast, market to east, warriors slightly more east.

I played by -
1 demoloshing both elven bungalow's right away
2 Building gnomes
3 Building two wizard towers in front of wizard's guild (inns would work as well)
4 Recruiting warriors and wizards to get rid of original enemies
5 Upgrading palace
6 Building two guilds of krypta on the backside of palace (1+second market would have been better)

This was about all of the original money. Day 2 ish. Used invisibility on wizards as neccesary, but since the enemy's were set to "raid" it was better to force them to attack buildings, since once they start damaging one they don't change targets. Eventually worked money back up with a second market, then starting using sorceror's abode to Gate over to the rat's nest. Rhoden didn't really do much when I finally fought him.

Ah, i playes on majestic majesty mod, idk if that was harder, more easy. Probably both, haarder on start, more easy on end. But extremaly fun, i spent ~2,5h on this scenario (i collect 2 milions gold in tresury :p )

Great job with this map :) i reset maybe 40 times before i get good configuration. But its really fun and balanced. My strategy was: i build 2 krolm temple (that was not to easy, i nuild it very long because constant attack. and after sometimes i destroyed elf and build dwarfs (i love dwarfs balista) Dwars protected me well :) and after this i have save my base and i destroyed krolm and build dauros. So i buld next building step by step. But each building its very hard battle.

TL:DR Best scenario in Majesty, in my opinion one of hardest. Please more!

Since quest is very challenging gonna leave some TIPS. Don't read further if you want to find your own strategy=).

This quest requires some micromanagment with henchman at the beginning since there won't be time for that in next 10 days=). Very important to protect your peasants. Tier up your buildings as fast as possible.

In order to win I used here spells and some tricks like building temple/outpost then destroy temple, build another temple and other, which i never used throug campaign.

Invisibility and sorcerer's spells are very important at beginning.
After playing it couple of times quest is about surviving under constant siege. And, of course, this quest is first in a row.

It's possible to win with any temple setup. If you want things to be more challenging try to survive without spell lighting storm. With krolm temple setup that becomes real pain.
