Oh thats the Phys shield concept image, i was just showing off the components of what exactly it is, its made up of multible blocks so it can be a bit confusing. The emitter is basically just a glorified reactor block designed to hold onto the shield and keep it running and regenerating at all times, the screen is a field of invisible blocks designed to sit behind the sectional and keep it regenerating and always attached even if explosive damage destroys a block of the shield. Also i dont see the reference anywhere? maybe im just blind but the colony crawlers were basically large mobile stations that were made to have buildings attached to them and slowly move around.

also can you explain what you are trying to show in the 12th image?

no, i was seeing the reference to them in the description of some of the items in this mod, which made me think that they were sort of meant to be like building that are similar to what the Bee and Borg faction use but more of this faction themed, which was confusing me a lot since I didn't remember seeing this faction having any way to do so

Ah you found some of em? Basically just a mobile base from back when I was still developing Obelisk Corp. It was orginally planned to be 3 different factions and the colony crawlers were part of the Civilian faction within the Obelisk corporation, but I decided that was a waste of time.

Its pretty much their defining trait other than the hot pink ships, nice shapable shields with a sorta modular power system.

The way you make the shields is unique! This is the only mod I know that builds shields this way!

I'm way too shy to be putting my stuff out in public, i just do it for fun, but i definitely enjoy showing off my mods and giving them colorful stories or making mods for already colorful stories.
No worries ill put up the story with my next mod, its gonna have quite a few factions so ye, and no worries they will all be individually downloadable and fleshed out with their own personalities relating to the story itself.

Actually i do write alot in my free time, dont worry the book isnt finished im still brainstorming and whatnot new ideas for it, but im def working on one, im even gonna make it into a mod.

this is a design restraint, if i could change that i would.

Have no fear this update isn't over, i plan to add a few more cruisers as well. Also all the current cruisers are getting their very own phys shields, and the battleships will be getting a specialized version! x3

Phys Shield Update is here, and it only took a whole month lol, sorry for the mess i've been real busy finishing up high school and not alot of time to be modding, but here with the recent break for thanksgiving ive ample time to work x3

@alexjoubert9 I probably wont be making another faction for a while, ive got work to do and I can't be bothered to focus on reassembly modding and coding while im trying to do something more important, although, I am thinking about releasing something just before winter. As for your idea im sure there are plenty of mods just like that on the workshop.

@alexjoubert9 the only block in Obelisk Corp that is remotely close to a solar panel is the factory, and it has auto R generation over time, basically if you spam these you will get a steady income.

Are You Going To Add A Way To Earn R Cuz the title is called obelisk corporation and the last bit is the word for working so i thyink you need to add maybe....solar pannels? but the builds are very nicely bult and will you make a fraction that spreads like super fast cuz i wanna try this mod vs it basicly i want you to make a new mod with fast spreading ships like plants and i wanna use this mod to see if my idea is a bit better or this one i love this mod

Fun fact for obelisk corporation, the first ship i built in this mod and the only one that has stayed through till the very release of it, is the WarCruiser. I'm not even kidding the only thing that has changed on that ship since I was still developing the blocks.lua is a few guns on it.

@alexjoubert9 That is not a bug with my mod, this is a very common bug. If you read the forums you will find that it is very easy to fix. All you have to do is move my mod up on the mods list to the top and regenerate your save (this can be done by right clicking the save and clicking regenerate world). After that close the game and relaunch.

there is this bug when i make a new world no fractions spawn and i spawn at the end of the map pls fix this and add more wepons cuz there is not much to use thank you and goodbye

But Owl came through and uploaded his mod quite alot sooner than i did, i just done always have alot of time to work on these.

Actually Obelisk corp was started about at the same time as EAC me and Owlfeathers sorta worked with eachother and traded a few ideas, thats where i got those cute little lights on my ships from, but we were sure to have our own styles and design philosphies.
