Why not upload it as a new mod to Steam? Original owner has been radio silent for 2 years and has updated none of their other mods. IMO upload a new version up to steam and give credit to the original creator. If they are not maintaining it and you are not taking credit for making it there is no problem. Plenty of other mods have been continued by new people.

Guys, i updated the mod. i didnt want to upload this as a new mod, so i'll give the dropbox link to the updated mod. Extract the files and place it in the game directory's mod folder. something like,

Please update to 1.1 when you can, when you have alot of animals those Zs lag the game very quickly.

This will help me out since i have a shit ton of mods on.

Man, I thought I was the only one with this issue. Got raided at night once, took my game about 10 minutes to render everything in. I have a pretty beefy PC too.

for the request about static Zzz, it could be cool to still have a fairly small "z" which doesnt move or animate or fade, on or just above the animal, (non transparent probably due to different possible animal sizes) but am not sure if that is possible.

there is a rim themes mod though, maybe that can help but not sure

hi i already had plant sway disabled (as using lots of mods with lots of animals, including minions :) and slow computer, but cool i didnt know about draw shadow - will have to try that plus this mod ;) thanks

What about making the z's on colonists not move, and not disabled?

not if they have ....other things they can do in bed......XD

you can tell if they are sleep if they are in bed :p

I could try something like that, but might be a little bit before I can work on something like that, but I do like the idea.

I agree animals can get out of hand, but maybe i want to know if my colonist is sleeping or not by the visual cue.

Any way to allow it to not block zzz's on colonists? just animals.
Better yet an mod option for which ones?

Would it be possible to make something similar to this for craftable bots from other mods? When charging, a floating battery bar pulses just like sleeping z's. I've noticed it slows down my game quit a bit!

If they're dead, they go on top of the bed.
If they're with this mod, they never sleep.
They are husks of humans.
Highly advanced cybernetic machines.
They can implant a second AI core in their brain, that way.
But they're incompatible,that's why they always go out and murder things afterwards. Made with real genetic mater~
Fuck it they're just insomniacs.

It's not really that hard to tell if they are alive/dead, I've never had an issue anyways

maybe you can think of a passive "zzz" ?... so that we knew that they were sleeping and not dead.

He wanted me to add it so it appeared when searching in the workshop, I didn't know that was how you 'tagged' a item, it uses words listed in the items description.
