Is this map based of a real area?

@Goose SFC you can change themes and building styles and stuff. get the mod that lets you change what the theme is when you load it up. or the mod that lets you put down whatever buildings you want...

one of the best maps i've seen yet...... however..


why is a Washington based map European theme? I am dumbfounded by that choice. I use a ton of workshop buildings, but with the prop remover, the American vanilla buildings are super useful and here i am, with hours into my highway system, and starting to move towards buildings, only to realize... my PNW city is... European... just... for real, why??

I like this map very much, but it has fatal drawbacks. This map has a bad terrain: It happened in the first place:
1. The low sea level as a whole is not much different from the topography of coastal areas.
2. Too low terrain in coastal areas causes water to pour into the land ...
I made changes to the sea level, but the sea is still pouring.
And there's no longer the previous map to look good,So this map is useless, it's a pity!
I ask the master to make changes, thank you!

A beautiful map but is it possible to get it without the European Theme? Would fit much better even more so as it's called Supper Bay, Washington

I have really lot of earthquakes in my map is it normal? One by one... I want to play with natural disaster because is more realistic and fun, but one earthquakes end and few minutes later is another one.

Please, can you make a non-mass transit version? I tryed editing by myself in map editor but there are to many roads gone! :(

I have trouble using the 81 tile mode because it makes my game lag out, any other suggestions for other mods that unlock all the tiles?

The mods you are looking for are European Buildings Unlocker, Building Themes and RICO. They are among the "top popular mods" I think.

@Apple I tried some theme changing mods but could not get them to work properly, i already had 5k pop, some were changing, but others were not. Can you suggest a method (mod) for me? then I'll try your map, fresh, new city from scratch and see how i go.

Hey, thanks! I guess I'm modding my game so much that I don't notice aspects like that! Why are you not using mods if you hate European buildings?

I love this map! So much detail. Apart from redoing some outside connections that were not spawning, i abandoned it once the european buildings started spawning! I just cannot stand them. Awesome map tho, it's almost worth paypal'ing you for temperate or tropical versions! I gave you a rate-up, great job ;)

Haha, finally a self-sufficient gamer who figures stuff out him/herself!

You can actually open the map right in game and start playing. But I couldn't get traffic started till I finished the road all the way across and then restarted the game.

Also, it is easy to see where the roads were because there are paths without trees so just place your roads in the others paths if you want to match the original map.

Download the map and open it in the map editor, then add you own roads!

Sorry, the quality of the map doesn't lay in the road layout, therefore I will not bother making the same layout again. It takes to much time uploading and fixing up screenshots and such.

I just thought of having them as a baseline. Cant you just fix it by using the upgrade road tool? Ive soon other map makers making both versions (i dont have mass transit so i dont know else)

I could, but It would take some time. Why do you have to place the roads exactly my way, though? I always edit all maps I download for personal use to fit my liking.

can you release a non mass transit version of this map? Placing the roads yourself is almost impossible since you cant see all the roads on the screenshots.

Shit, Mass Transit is required, I forgot to put that in there. I don't think I left any Network Extensions roads in the map either. Either way, just go into the Map Editor and add the roads again, takes ten minutes. The roads was the smallest priority when making the map since I figured people alter the roads as the city grows anyways.

having the same problem as @Sten. none of the prebuilt roads are showing up!!! Looks like a lovely map that i was really looking forward to working with no roads = no one can come to my city :(

I downloaded the map but only a section of the prebuild roads show up, is this a know problem? Right now I have ugly lines off tree-less space on the map.

You know, something is very funny with the Realistic Themes and my game. You can see that I've used the correct theme (at 1:05, top right), but you are not the first map maker to tell me this on a Realistic theme, it's quite strange. Not sure what causes it, and no clue where to start looking. If you've got any ideas please let me know. Yes, the lighting can be adjusted manually, I've got the mods, but I've tweaked maps before only for the creator to be pissed that I've changed the intended look. So now, I tend to leave as loaded, with the exception of sometimes adding a LUT if none was specified. Sorry the colours didn't come out right, but even so, outstanding work!

Apple. I saw the review on BonBonB 's youtube channel - and I really love you map. I thought the colours were on purpose (and I liked them, as it was a bit different)- but looking at your pictures: I am loving your map even more - it looks stunning now.
I hope a lot of people enjoy playing your map. :-)

Nice! Although it seems to be that you didn't get theme map theme working, looks like vanilla European really. And lighting you can always adjust yourself with a few must-have-mods. Regarding the glitching, it's not glitching when opened in map editor. Anyways it's an easy fix with Move It. Thanks for the review!
