Like, you already have the mechanics of injuries and punishment for them in the form of not being able to use the character. What's the point of this new mechanic if it uses the same logic but is applied automatically?
- If I was still leveling soldiers, I was already rotating soldiers on missions to spread the XP over my active roster* so that I could handle losing my most experienced one. So not much difference here, and fatigue really feels like a mechanic to train players not to put everything into one primary squad then get into trouble when bad luck wipes them out. But I learned that lesson with XCOM EU/EW.
- Late game when most/all of my soldiers are at max level. Then rotating soldiers to send out fully rested soldiers gets annoying with all the moving around of gear.
*3 of each of the core classes. One Spark, Reaper, Templar and Skirmisher. While I had other soldiers in the barracks, I didn't send them out on any missions until the "active" soldiers died.
Making will recovery instant also serves to make it so that Chosen disables (mindscorch, tranq shot) won't always succeed, probably, and mind control isn't an instant "ha ha kill your colonel" moment.
but this mod eliminates the WILL-stat almost fully since the will recovery is instant.
this mod does not only remove fatigue, it also adjusts will recovery to be instant which makes the game even easier since you always go in with full will into a mission.
this can be a big deal in some cases obviously.
using ONLY the follwing 2 stats, would ONLY remove fatigue and not will recovery? correct or not?

i am thinking about the will-stat and how it is affecting soldiers in other ways like mind-control.
Most likely a mod conflict from something new you recently added.
Nope, no will loss in combat is that, your soldiers NEVER lose will points in combat.
This mod however resets Will or rather fatigue after missions and once your troops return to the Avenger.
As a side not, you definitely need both mods to COMPLETELY render the Fatigue system non functional.
You only ever clear your config folder while the game isn't running obviously.
Also if you're doing so to get rid of the effects of mods, you need to first uninstall/unsub from the mods you want to remove and then you clear your config folder.
This mod only removes fatigue "Post mission and while back at the Avenger", to fully get rid of the will loss bullplop you'll also need to use this other mod along with this one...

So now, having finally got WOTC for XMas and playing my first playthrough, I am enjoying the game *except* for this irritating tiredness feature forcing me to build a large roster and make the campaign overly long. It adds no challenge, it just adds duration to the game for its own sake, and it is simply annoying (to me anyway).
Hence, searching today for a mod to remove the annoyance for future playthroughs (I will complete the first playthrough with it on, but never again after that).
Therefore, I am very happy to find this mod, and I will try it out on my next playthrough.
Thank you to the author.
