Try typing "snd_rebuildaudiocache" in your console. It may take a bit but it may fix the issue.

The sound often gets corruputed, meaning a random noise will play after firing the weapon. I've tried re-installing the mod a few times, and spamming snd_restart. not sure what else to do.
