I've just finished a campaign with no issues. This mod hasn't been updated in years, so I would double check it's not another mod in conflict if you have issues. If you use Alternative Mod Launcher you may spot the conflict. Hope that helps

Anyone having issue with using blademaster and this mod on lost? For some reason when I blademaster attack a passing lost, it gets stuck on the lost's turn, never progressing. I don't know for sure if its this mod, or not, I'm looking now. Just wondering if anyone's heard of this bug.

@Fonzosh I've been using this with the Tactical Legacy Pack with no problems. (That second slice can be really handy for some of the missions!)

@pauloel7 it's definetely not grimy's loot, I use them together. I actually came here to ask @RealityMachina about how does this interact with the sword mod Death's hand, wich makes each slash of Reaper deal increased damage? I'm freshly reinstalling the game and all mods and I've never been in the situation to use this and the legendary sword mod together.

i downloaded lots of mods and when i tried launching it kept saying the same crash msg and then i tried removing the mods i thought wer the cause,when i finally have the remaining mods i used bfore the lots of mods downloaded it stil giving the same bullcrap only by deselecting all the wotc mods was i able 2 launch the game,i xit selected my usual mods and it gave me the same shit so i finally decided 2 uninstal and then installing it again if this doesnt work goodbye wotc 4 the rest of my life!

just took out the hunter with a full team of melee and this mod made the game so easy that i might remove it, might aswell take out the second slash and just give movespeed and plus 10 def or something in its place.

Think another mod was the culprit.

Another suggestion: to allow choosing the position to land the second slash at the same target, which now can only be taken without moving. That way one can reposition for cover simultaneously.

Love the mod. It brings swords up to a viable alternative to shotguns. An idea to further balance/nerf it would be to allow movement with bladestorm perk and slash only with reaper.

Ranger's Momentum is also listed as a Penalty on the tactical UI.

Hi! if possible, would you be able to make this same exact mod but strictly just for templars?

I feel like that special DLC class is kinda weak relative to rangers when I use this mod.

The double slash is basically the sword version of rapid fire. I like it because it's different from the templar's parry, but it's too powerful for its tier. Maybe the second slash should have an aim/damage penalty, or have blademaster give a move only action while a deeper ability upgrades it to the double slash option.

Double slash is OP as hell. Please put a variable into ini. to turn On/Off the Slice.

Honestly the worst part of sword is that you're just standing there after you swing, probably flanked, possibly even out of cover. This fixes that. Thank you.

I would've been fine with the extra movement, but an entire extra slash seems overbearing to me.

@ADVENT Avenger, Implacable only affects ranged attacks, which I've found frustrating. If you get Serial on a Ranger, then the shotgun is just objectively better in every way.

Parry might be wonky to try to put on a non-Templar unit, because of the animation. Not saying it couldn't be done, it'd just be weird to have bullets always fire at a Ranger and then go through it because there was no block anim.

So, been playing around with this; loving the extra move action, that doesn't seem too overpowered, but the extra slice does. Maybe it is just some weird synergy because of playing with Beta Strike, but this makes Squaddie Rangers more powerful than some of my vets. Is there a way to turn that part off? Didn't see anything in the ini so I dunno.

Also, bug note, this seems to grant momentum regardless of taking Blademaster.

With these two mods, Ranger became master re-locator even at low rank. It will reduce tactical risk significantly.

So how does it interacts with Implacable? Does Implacable overwrites Momentum if a Ranger managed to kill a target with Slash? And can this mod work along with Blademaster Enhancement mod?

No. Reaper refund your action if you get a kill. Momentum just add 1 movement action so you can run away.
