the joke was you made this mod in 2017, but 3 years later axolot added their own water to the game in 2020 for the survival update.

and yes i agree, i dont think they even developing ch2 at this point, they just be havin' fun, we dont even get betas to try out, atleast minecraft takes 1 year per update, and gives us snapshots to play, where as axolt has taken 4 years to release survival, and who knows how long to release ch2.

This mod is kinda outdated, also there is one water block which waves on its own
I havent touched this mod in awhile, cant remember right away how it worked.

Yes, it works without logic gate repeater or anything,
You can also duplicate glass material rename it to AnimGlass and add ["POSE_0_ANIM"] as thats the important bit.
On the other hand, you could wait for devs to add water to creative mode, as I dont have further plans to update this mod anymore.

the surface mod is all right for these things. i use this mod for a pool, surface for the floor, and buoyancy for water.

I can't make one piece which covers entire world as I need more polygons to make those waves, and if I make it over whole world it would be like 200MB object, which would load for 10 mins or something.

go use a different mod then, i dont think he will. the buoyancy mod is water wich can float boats too if activated go try. but if this mod owner would actually make that kind of water its fine!

As it have to have more polygons to have wave effect, it would slow down your world alot.
