I can't really teach you or anyone how to make good textures, being only an amateur artist myself. This texture mod was real easy to do The hard part was just figuring out how to make a VTF (Valve Texture File) out of it. But as far as actually making textures go, I really can't help you there.

VTFEdit and the image editing software of your choice. Look around the internet, there's a bunch of tutorials floating around out there.

Actually, I do have a number of alternate color schemes of this same design. I never got around to publishing them. I added the name because I made this particular skin mod for my own personal Enderdragon character, Ignatius. If anyone can provide me with alternate skin designs or if I somehow scrounge something up, I might add them.

I could just upload the model with the default Enderdragon skin if you or anyone else wanted. Or I could just update this one to have it as an alternate skin.

It probably did. I'm gonna release an update at some point (or just a new addon altogether) that'll feature more skins. I might throw in the classic Enderdragon skin.
