the vanilla version of the game has this naming issue, unfortunately. There is a mod that implemented a fix, but that would require I change the configs of all of these vanilla mods, and that would make stuff stop working for many people, so I can't do that.

Hi, I'm using your mods, Tali, Wrex, Grunt and Garrus squadrad. And i have a little ussue. All names in game are incorrect. For example Tali torso calls correctly, but when i want to pick Garrus wrex or Grunt torso they just calls torso 12, torso 13, and torso 14 insted of real names, how can i fix it?

The way it works is that you make them in the character pool, and then it'll be there so that when u start a new campaign, it has a chance to appear as one of your soldiers. If you want them to be faction heroes, just make sure you make them one in the character pool creation.

how dose this change the three wotc. classes? dose it make it so the random factions have a chance to be this alien "?? or just so you can make them your self.. and import them?

Nothing else required, that's weird. All parts should be there. Make sure you're using the WOTC version if you're playing WOTC, and the vanilla version if playing vanilla and/or LW2.

Cant seem to get any of the Garrus 'pieces' to show up in the character pool creation menu. Am I missing something or are there other mods required to make the pieces show up?

Sooo...any chance of updating Garrus's head so that he doesn't look like a pothead who saw something unseeable?

Yeah, unfortunately, the ruler armors come with their own new animations, those specific abilities you mentioned. So it's a bit tricky to get these customization ports to work with those armors.

On the plus side, they do work with the 3 new hero classes from wotc :)

Seems to be having some issues with the Alien armors. If you try to use snap freeze for example garrus just goes into the "skeleton arms extended" forzen pose and a few seconds later the enemy will be frozen (or not, usualy, you know, because xcom). Can't confirm if this happens for rage strike / Skyleap as i just gave liaras Head Icarus Armor.

I assume the Alien rulers are individual... models? not actual skins since in the customization they show up as ONE piece (torso) wich replaces legs / arms / torso simultaniously. They don't have "serpent suit left arm / right arm / torso / legs" like the others do.

Hello, does anyone know if there is some sort of mod that prevents the added customization options like the torsos and heads from appearing on random soldiers and support staff? It kills the immersion when a floating head with Wrex's torso and Quarian arms appears in missions or as an engineer.

It seems clearing the config folder did the trick

Ok so, Buildable Geth might be conflicting with you, as that restricts armors to only appear on Geth units. For that, I recommend asking RealityMachina.

For the rest, as I mentioned, the best thing you can do is to unsub, then clear out the config folder I mentioned, and only until then, should you resub and try again.

5. Whenever I upgrade to a new armour tier, sometimes my units change to random torsos. It seems fixable whenever it happens to be the quarian torso, but not the others.
6.This has been from normal armour, I don't think i've seen it happen with specialised armour... at least not yet, anyway.

Why? Because sometimes, old mods and certain game configurations remain even after unsubbing or changing. So it's just a safe measure to keep your game as clean and intact as possible.

1. Are you running WotC or vanilla XCom2?
2. Are you subbed to any vanilla XCom2 mods?
3. Are you subbed to other cosmetic mods?
4. Are you subbed to RealityMachina's Allies Unkown series of mods?

I was never subscribed to them. And which config folder? And why?

Are you subbed to the original mod versions as well? You need to unsub from those, and I also recommend deleting your config folder in MyDocuments.

I'm having this weird issue with both this and the Legion Squadmate mods, whenever I upgrade to a new set of armour, a squadmate is occasionally stuck with a torso of either a Geth Trooper/Legion, or with Garrus' body. I am unable to switch them back to normal human bodies (or arms or legs) without swapping back to the old armour sets, which means that it's being a real pain. And even if I disable the mod, it just leaves them with either black or invisible torsos and such, still unable to change back. And solution for this?

That's correct, I need to update Garrus for the 3 new classes still. It's definitely on the To Do List.

Doesn't seem like this is enabled for faction classes. Would love for Garrus to be a reaper (ironic, I know)

mod works great but i accidently put torso gear over armor and now it looks very weird with garrus armor. there isn't any torso gear 0 or something like that. only 4 options and you have to choose one of them. do you know how to remove unwanted custimization? a key/shortcut etc.?
