you could try reinstalling Steam
it won't remove anything important just all of steam's registry files etc...

@theGoddes It probably is compatible. I will not be able to update it, though, because steam keeps giving me errors when uploading to the workshop

@Vivian Vantastic If you put in some effort, and have patience, you may be able to make a map of your own. The modding section of the SP subreddit has some helpful tutorials, which I can provide a link to, if you want. If you want to start a map project, I can also share some of my basic knowledge, so your first map isn't a frustrating experience.
