i like the idea,but its too dark.i cant see cause of how black areas are.lighting should be fixed more and then we have a more precise looking map especially for versus,etc.... good stuff though,but that needs to be fixed.

Hey everyone, I made this mod a VERY long time ago. I use to play on max brightness because my monitor was far from great in the dark environments. So, I made this mod on max brightness without realizing it, I recommend giving it a whirl on max brightness if you have trouble seeing, I know its annoying lol thats my bad.

You are extremely limited with colour corrections compared to mapping, So obviously official maps are going to have better lighting. The only way to accomplish the look i wanted was to make it dark and turn up the brightness. And this is a mod from like 4 years ago, not only do I have no interest in going back and updating it, I also don't even have the files anymore.

If your lighting forces players to change their brightness settings so that they can see, your lighting is poor. Notice how this isn't a problem on Valve's L4D1 maps, where a majority of them take place at nighttime, yet they are clearly visible with the default brightness setting.

Turning up the brightness also lightens up the interface, but doesn't make the in-game environment brighter. It still remains dark.

For players, a brighter flashlight is absolutely recommended if the author is unable to adjust their mod to fit the setting of the game.

А мне не понравилось. Коррекция цвета и гаммы, причём всего и вся, одним ползунком, будь то фонарик или оружка. В итоге получилась тёмная карта, толком ничего не видно. Нет нет, я люблю хард, сложности и т.п. вещи, но только тогда, когда это сбалансированно.
Идея. Сделайте нормальные ночные карты или карты с постоянным штормом, туманом и т.п.. Вот это было бы интересно.
