4ANGRY_K1TT3N, the mini strider is essentially a hunter that shoots what striders shoot instead of fletche (whatever the hunter shoots)

kind of works without HL2 ep2, it just stay still and fires error bullets with no sounds. I tested this out by not mounting EP2, but you should get HL2EP2 either way to make it better

No, there is no way for you to get around not having Half-Life 2: Episode Two installed and mounted.

Also, there is no way for anyone to upload HL2:EP2 models or materials since, you know, it's illegal.

this comment is for evryone who what's the hunter but dont want to buy half life 2.
step 1.look up mini strider npc and get all the content for the mod
step 2.look up flechet weapons find the one that looks like an lmg get that mod
then you will have all the texturs and effects for the hunter
