Good new...i was able to play thru the whole mod w/o crashing :) Also i did not need to lower the settings or disable other mods.
I just like to comment 3 things if np:
- You ended up removing enemy #7, but i dont think he caused crash. You can put him back if you want (he was the one in the middle of the are with the blue stones)
- It would be nice if the mod ended when you finished it, i reached the flag at the end but nothing happen...this isn't very important but would be a nice touch.
- We could try a test to add a Wolf or some boss-like enemy at the bridge in the end, just to have an epic last battle b4 ending the mod....but ofc only if it not crash

so removing the bugged enemies leaves 4 left, i guess thats ok since there are 4 checkpoints. combat was never really the point of the level anyway.

Removing them might fix it, but we don't know what is causing it though...
My only solid conclusion is that it only crashes if the enemy detects me, so i'm not sure what this could mean...what happens to the game when an enemy detects the player? Why would this cause the crash?

Ps: We could try removing the enemies that cause the crashes and if it works make a 2nd version of this mod...so far the ones that crashed my game were:
#1 #3 #6 #8 { #9 or #10 (i think both) }
I'd like to add that #1 and #6 didn't crash if i was too far away when they detected me (i was using flying mod)

You might consider making it wider, or puting another ledge in between?

Didn't seem to make a difference...at least for me. Dunno what is the problem with enemies #1 #3 #6 etc...but it only happens if they detect me.

If there is an update I'll try the map again myself, it's just heartbreaking to get a crash mid-way up!

ok thats interesting, ill replace all the rabbits with cats and dogs tomorrow. thanks for taking interest in the map and helping improve it!

Ok, i'm almost 100% sure the problem is with the rabbit enemies only (all crashes were with rabbit and no problem with cat, dog or wolf)...also crash only happens if they detect me (stealth kill also counts and crashes...must take them out with 1 shot or avoid them completely).

I was having crashes too, right at the start of the level. So I did disable all mods, restart, and everything was good...

I played for about 40 minutes, struggling my way up. I got past the thin ledges on a massive slope part, then...

The game crashed. Randomly. I don't know why.

And that put me back at the bottom.

Losing all my progress.

Daaaaaamn it.

Any videos of this level up? I'd like to watch a playthrough to see the rest...too heartbroken to attempt this again myself, haha.

oh and thanks for the compliments about the platforming. i might have another map ready by christmas. its much bigger, prettier and hopefully stable.

it seems a lot of the crashes are related to the activity of the enemies. ive thought about removing all of them, but then that might annoy those who arent experiencing crashes. not sure if its a rare or common issue as not many have spoken up about it. ill be needing a second opinion before i change anything.

Just letting you know what i found out:
- Had no problem using other mods and blood dripping while using this mod
- The crashes always happen when i encounter an enemy...the workaround i found is to enter the area where they are very slowly and wait for them to come to me (worked for the first 2 enemies so far...having trouble not crashing with the 3rd...i'll try avoiding him completely)

Really liked the mod so far, very good platforming sections

This is a pretty great level. If you've played any Elegaro level, you'll know what I mean when I say it feels like I've been time travelled to the best of Alpha days.

The rebuild of the navmesh on this map takes a very very long time. The price to pay for such a big map.

My feedback would be to double up your checkpoints :) Also, it is possible to make it so that there are "defeat" goals so that you have to finish off enemies, and they will remain defeated afterwards. Last is the "stick to nav mesh" property on enemies. Not sure if you set it, but one guy did a suicide leap off a high place (round "wall of china" looking part). Could have also been because I didn't reset after generating the nav mesh (?)

I didn't restart after the navmesh built because I didn't read your instructions ahead of time, and eventually crashed while in the editor. You can zip up and email your crash dumps to bugs@wolfire.com if you have them. I've already submitted the bug I had (and it definitely was navmesh related, on internal_testing)
