Strange and amusing, unfortunatly seems very buggy. I suddenly glitched into third-person view, and a lot of the enemies were frozen in place and I could only hit them with grenades.

Ah this is all time the error when you load a Map with no changes and make a Map error check then is the error all time there. The best is ignore the error and make the pickups there you want^^

I have a question since you know how to make maps, how do you place an ammo spawn in a custom map? I go to actor > pickups > KFAmmopickup and then right-click where I want the ammo but when I build I get an error "no inventory spot for this pickup". Do you know how to fix this? Thanks!
