The issue is caused by the old LargeLCDPanel definition in the mod. The best solution is to remove the definition to stop it from overriding the new vanilla def. You can then copy the LCD block variant group and add the 2x2 LCD there.

I had same problem. It appears that only the square LCD has problems displaying when this mod is loaded. I noticed in build menu (g) that the LCD does not have a plus sign or additional LCDs when you click on it, but when placed on toolbar, it has plus sign and allows you to select different LCD screens (lcd panel, text panel, lcd panel 2x2, wide lcd panel) and again, only the square "lcd panel" seems to have the issue for me. I can rotate or move to certain spots/distances and face certain directions to get different behavior of; broken, flickering back and forth, showing correct thing/working.

All of the panels in the screenshots of this mod seem to work correctly also.

Hello all, after several tests, I found this mod is broken since last update 1.195 introducing LCD rotation. The problem I met was I had my LCDs going crazy displaying screen rotation arrows and sometimes I could see my picture. Also I was not able to see the "rotation" slider in the LCD properties.
Removing this mod from my world solved the problem. Reproduced with a fresh new test world with and without this mod.

Would it be possible for you to make an 'Inverted' version of the Thin Flat or Corner LCDs, where the LCD is displayed facing away from the block, instead of into the block? I want to place a few of these at the immediate exits of some passages. There are some Passage LCDs I have, but these dont include one for a T intersection.

i didn't really want to make small grid versions i didn't feel they were appropreate for them

What about sloped LCDs? There's an olden mod, but it uses very primitive old-style models.

@DaVinci A little scripting and you can scroll a sentence accross several LCD's

just a sentence, i don't need another LCD like text source.. something just to put onto this beautiful mesh that will scroll and surround all the room!

I will see what can be done, the source of the text is it static (some text you want to put on) or are you wanting to read it from something else like another LCD

DaVinci they are separate LCD's i am afraid. the demo i set text on each panel.
I cannot join them up and render them as one other wise it would be a static shape. I have considered a companion script that can be loaded to manage rendering scrolling text across them but this is not a straight forward thing to do. If you let me know what you want out of it i will see what i can include

I used the thin LCD set but they seem to be separated to each other, not like in your pictures where u can put a sentence and this cross the lcds..

The mod itself doesn't actually provide the button panel just a complementing LCD that sits behind it that matches Keen's button panel. i can't see how a mod could cause a reboot that just seems bizarre! check your spaceengineers.log it might have a explanation as to the crash. I do know that physics updates (whena grid collides) often freeze the game for upto 20 seconds.

I placed one of those button panels and then the game locked up and I had to restart my pc. I just wanted to press buttons!
