I also have the blank species name issue and when i point the mouse avobe it the game instnat crashes. sadly.

its probably not going to be fast... but would it be minded if someone else went and updated this mod? I'm thinking of giving it a go... No idea how to, probably just going to consult the stellaris wiki on how to whenever I give myself time.

Hey thanks for updating the mod :) I was wondering if you could add some randomly generated names for the Species? I don't know if its jsut me, but when some Mythos cultures appear in game, they show up as " Republic" or " Empire"

@Abraxas. I wish I could help you out, but I'm not entirely sure how to get it to work in 1.8. The mod however does function fine in 1.8.1 with some simple adjustments.

As such, can you, at least, make a version for plain 1.8?

...Not the fondest of the beta, considering that some of the mods I use break the game in such a way as to where NONE of the races (custom OR VANILLA) can select traits... ... ...working on sorting out WHICH ONES are breaking it, but some of them add things I REALLY WANT kept in the game... ... ...

I still have no idea why it happened. However, it started working a little after I posted the comment. So, I am able to use them now and they are great!

I haven't been able to replicate that bug on my end, have you tried looking into the error log and seeing what's doing it? It'll probably be the last couple of lines prior to your crash. You can locate the log in the paradoxentertainment/stellaris/log directory in your documents folder.

So, I don't know if this is just me or what, but when I try to go to make a empire and go to the ruler portion, it crashes the game. Could you provide any aid? It honestly looks really nice and I would love to be able to use it.
