you make a great game, with a big potential, bravo.
you can make a stand alone game in steam.
good job, and thanks at you.
Good luck with completing your game. I look forward to playing the finished product!
After death, if the player still has direction key pressed down, I think the character should still move. I think it's just my mario insincts emerging! :D
-no need for checkpoints; Maybe not in the first levels, but It's possible that I include them in later (and longer) levels.
- better/ more precise collision masks: I already came to the conclusion I had to change them.
- smaller character/ bigger resolution : I'm still working on the graphics, but I don't know why I have to make the character smaller.
- more game elements : Of course I was planning more of them; I only didn't have enough time to make more of them.

the idea has potential. I can see it as a html5 game.
I like the idea of the checkpoint system. When I design the levels, I already know where all the hazard are located, so maybe I have to implent something like that.
The game and it's levels, sprites, music,... are still work in progress. This was more some kind of a demo to show the concept. But I'm already happy you all like the concept.
