I remember playing this map on the old version of GMod back when they had the toybox. That must have been at least 12 or 13 years ago. Great times.

Amazing map man, just got done playing Mother 3 and I wish I could go back and replay GMT now that I get all of the references. That Hinawa grave was a nice touch too.

It's also cool to hear you've taken up map making yourself! It's a long road, but very satisfying. This was made back around 2010, I think, so it's hard to say how long it took. I had a full-time job that used up most of my day, but I spent several hours almost every night working on this map. That went on for a few months. I'm going to just make a guess and say it was roughly 140 hours of work.
Have fun making your own creations! Please share them when you're done.

I... I love this map... Thank you so much for making memories, as I remember being around 9-10 years old, playing on this map 24/7. I had and am still having so much fun on this (VERY WELL MADE) map! Keep it up mate! :)
P.S. How long did it take you to make this map? I'm a map designer and I wonder what amount of time is usually used for a very good map like this.

I love this map despite that I haven't played the game the map is from. I found it somehow many years ago when I just got Garry´s mod, I had ton of fun on it. Flying around in the Delorean DMC 12, landing in those huge landing zone looking things. So it´s a weird connection I have to this map but it´s true nostalgia to me! Amazing map!

TF2 stands for "Team-Fortress 2" which is a free-to-play team based shooter made by VALVe. It was very popular when this map was made. A lot of older GMod maps also use TF2 assets and it was common for everyone to who played GMod to also have TF2 on their computers. Sorry it's more invonvenient to do these days.

I just researched for "new pork city" and only found your submission and http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=853614306 Mine isn't even in the list when I choose "only maps" When I choose "none specified" I see your submission 3 times with different photos in which mine has more photos. I created a mapicon for my "copy of yours" as people asked me to create a mapicon for it. Since the search in the Workshop didn't found anything, I searched online and uploaded it. I do see that you have a beta version of it in your collection, but it's hidden. There is the possibility that you hide your submission http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=110705508 and that might be the reason that the Workshop didn't found it when I was searching for it. In any case, my apologizes. I did the effort in searching for it first in the Workshop and if the Workshop doesn't found it, it's not my fault. And yes, I tried all kinds of things, spaces, no spaces, with _, etc...

@Serge: I have used the mapname to search for it in the Workshop. I tried with spaces "new pork city" and without spaces "newporkcity". The Workshop didn't found any result. So because it was not in the Workshop, I uploaded it. I always first search for it in the Workshop, if it founds nothing, I uploaded it. If the search founds 1 or more results, I don't upload it. Seems like capital letters are important.
