This has got to be one of the best maps not only in Garry's Mod, but in gaming history IMO.
I find it actually quite relaxing looking at the sunset. It's just beautiful.

I love the cold war era style, plus the sunrise/sunset setting.
Such a great map to look at but not the best for gameplay.
I hope you plan to make something like this in Facepunch's upcoming game, S&box.

@AceGeckers3D was this inspired by Red Dawn (1984), but in the '60s? Soviet forces occupy Western region of the United States.

@Adamentainium Read the description, the map uses assets from HL:2 Episodes One and Two. Make sure you have those games mounted and installed on your Garrysmod before trying to run the map.

I love this map! It is exactly the feel and ambiance I am looking for! I was hoping to change a few of the decals from Russian to Korean (you can guess the theme of my server). I wonder if you would be willing to provide the VMF file for this map for me to edit? I would of course give full-credit on the server to anyone you require. Thanks, Phosphene.
