uhm hey, in the new update of unturned regular 12 gauge have 12 pellets, the flechette has 9 pellets only, might need to update that

may need to update the explosive slugs cause Nelson over the years allegedly added range config in the magazine files, will explore mayybe

you could make them spawn more frequently, cuz they are quite very Rare, or maybe have some shotguns spawn with them sometimes

Have you? Shotgun shells aren't reusable. We don't mess with powder load in unturned, And i don't have teh proper equipment to make a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ shotshell. This isn't a muzzle loader

Dude, seriously? Have you ever hand loaded shotgun shells before. Powder load IS important. Too much and you'll have a disaster, too little and the projectile won't leave the gun. And I am not arguing with someone who knows nothing about firearms. If you think powder loader isn't a consideration over load a shell with powder and see what happens. I am not responsible for injury though

And This isn't reffering to IRL, and Yes Damage is a real thing in real life. There just isn't a good way of meauring it. Like refernece to one pellet of a 12 gauge buckshot or a slug round.

I'm gonna stop you right there. We know all about the befeits and impracticalitys of using a slug. And you don't change much when it comes to slugs. You don't change the "powder load".

Jesus these comments are cancer. Let me address one thing: there is no such thing as "damage" IRL. The next thing is accuracy and range boil into several things when it comes to slugs: their weight, powder load, whether-or-not the shotgun is soothe bored or rifled barrel (or if the slug is even compatible with a smooth bore barrel), the shooter's own skills, the wind, rain and time of travel. All of which are not in Unturned at all. I'd like to hear someone in these comments explain to me what they thing "slug damage" and "pellet damage" is. A better word is "powerful." Such as a dime slug (putting around 10 dimes into a an empty shell) could be more powerful than maybe a foster slug, however that is an argument for an entirely different situation. But they are fun, and a good waste of money.

Now on why slugs may not work is because how the game probably interprets damage. Looking at it myself you're not really benefiting from slugs IRL. The purpose of slugs is to a shotgun into a rifle (that is an over simplification by the way). They're supposed to travel faster and hit harder and be a lot more accurate. However that is very difficult to do in the game files because, for one, the code thing for setting damage, range and accuracy is very...weird? Like it isn't additive, it doesn't just add "99" to the damage, it sets the damage. This also goes for all the other stats as-well.
