the clans i do manage break the alliance no matter how much i give them? is anyone else having this problem?

It should be save game compatible. Give it a try and see what the other factions look like. You can always uninstall it. It may be that everyone will declare war on you or make everyone friendly towards you as you didn't get the build up of diplomacy using this mod.

@BKXD if you get the awesome PMF (Pack File Manager) for Total War, you can just make the change yourself. Just do a quick google search.
It's quite easy and there are lots of youtube vids to show you how to install and use it to mod any of the Total war games.
The file needed for the change is in data/db/campaign_variables_tables then find this in the list prestige_level_realm_divide this is the number that needs to be changed, higher will make realm divide take longer, you could make it 999 if you wanted to almost get rid of :)

Thanks for the reply! I tried renaming the file and did a quick test run on expanded with Takeda aaaand still just didnt work for me. With Sanada as my vassal it still sparked off realm divide with 14 provinces captured. Ooooh well.

I still think this is a cool mod (and trust me I woulda loved it lol) but its not working right for me atm. I'm gonna do a few other attempts. No client version darthmod, or unique clans, ect ect. I still think this is a cool mod and I'mma try and figure out how I can get it to work because I really wanna make it through expanded japan, but this is sorely needed for me heheh. Cheers mate.

I just checked and it's still the same, Realm Divide was set at 100 prestige it's increased to 280 so it should work for you.

Sometimes it's because it will load mods Alphabetically so you could try to re-name it To AdiplomacyMod or something. I will take a quick look in the files just in case I missed something. :)

Just want to know if you only used this mod with expanded japan itself? I tried using this mod but realm divide still sparks for me at only 15 provinces (if no vassals). I dont use any other diplomacy mods and I tried without darthmod but still no luck. Any advice? Or is there any way for me to gin into the game files and adjust it myself? Thanks.

ummm i would love to play this mod but its not making any changes to the map? any fixes? are you working on it?

I launched the game with the mod checked and unchecked, each time launching a new campaign but the campaign map didnt change, it stayed as the base game. Perhaps I'll try later to switch the game language to see if it has an impact. I hope it does because I really would like to try this mod^^

Hello, does this mod need an English version of the game to work properly ? I am currently using my French version but the map stays the same. The only other mod I use is a mod about the castles battle maps.

As far as I remember there are 2 reasons why they would keep breaking trade 1/ If the get blockaded so they can't trade 2/ if you haven't got enough relationship points.
You will need to be on good terms with them through marriage gifts hostages etc, see if you have a positive score.

Were just trading partners, i cant ally with them because everyone goes to war with Uesugi. Maybe it has to do with attacking own vassals?

How much relationship do you have with them?

Is there a mod that fix uesugi ai to stop breaking treaties? it always turns red after a couple of turns
