They're not particles, they're models. Search this in the model menu: ryu-gi\effect props\blood

The reason (at least I think) why they don't appear correctly in the model viewer is because of transparency in the textures, since the source engine isn't great at handling transparent textures.

would anyone happen to know how to fix the models not appearing unless you spawn them in? it's quite inconvenient to have to spawn 15 models before finding the right one

@Mause the Shopkeeper yeah that happens with some models, best to load them all and write a notepad file listing the ones you like the most

Have no idea which blood prop to spawn because the model doesn't show up unless it's actually in the map

This could be just a simple thing like a mod conflicting or a bug, anyway I have a problem that when I spawn them they're just like black like the blood cones is just a black cone and the blood texture doesn't show, so pretty much the invisible texture is not working.

Judging by the comments, is it safe to say that there is NO way to actually view each blood model on the selection screen? I guess that mean i'll have to spawn all of them and memorize which is which...

So, I know that this might be a stupid question, but how can we see each model in detail before we spawn it? I ask this because since the models are so small and 2-dimensional, you can't really see what they look like before you spawn them which can be quite annoying. Is there any way to be able to see the full model before spawning it? thank you

The normals on the splatter cones behave really weirdly. Try and fix that if you can.
