This was a very good puzzle back then, and 12 years later that is still true.
This might be your best original yet. (At least that I’ve played. :P)
Only real flaw is that it’s very easy to bhop around glass to the exit. But if you still have the file that’s an easy fix. (Though, it's already fixed in the Hammerized version present in The Best of Gig Vol. 1, so really no point. Not that you would anyway. :P)
Difficulty: 6.25/10
Enjoyed: 8/10
Tip for lesser annoyance at executing a particular step (you'll know which when you get there): you can shoot the portal off center. You won't have any issues if you do so. :)
Working on proper solution...
I agree with everyone else about the laser collision. Puzzles that require the player to move through portals that are redirecting lasers are very frustrating when laser collision is enabled.
I'd also recommend more effectively communicating the importance of the entrance platform to the player. It's too easy to take for granted without any markings or visual ques to draw the player's attention . I was completely and totally stuck doing the same tired old round trips over and over, and the puzzle didn't start coming together until I read StackSmasher789's hint. Maybe I just suck, but it was very frustrating to not have all the pieces of the puzzle even though the missing piece was right in front of me the whole time. It ultimately made finding the solution a disappointing experience.
I'll still give it a like and a fave, though.

Love the album cover too! Great job laying this out. I was stumped for a while before it came to me.

She went to the other side of the other side and crossed from there.
BTW I haven't been able to solve Azorae's 'Solitude' yet (with Magrathea, my oldest unsolved chambers) . Hope this one will inspire me.
Thanks!
