For anyone that may encounter issues with this sound mod (as I have, also with footsteps sound mods), go to "steamapps\common\insurgency2\insurgency" and find the "insurgency_sound.vpk.sound.cache" and delete it. Start the game and do your usual snd_restart exercises.

Should work thereafter. You'd have to do this step repeatedly after installing new sound mods, since Source depends on these sound cache files to call in sounds for the game, as they contain small snippets of the sound files themselves, however the engine prioritizes the main sound files over the mods' (with regards to voices and other sounds that are not gunfire, explosions, etc.)

This mod is immersive AF.

Cool mod. Only odd thing about it is the insurgents sounded a lot closer than they really were, usually resulting in me crapping my pants because I was alone and low on mags.

Nice but when the insurgents get flashed they all yell the exact same thing in unison and it sounds really weird.

I have tried, to no avail unfortunatley. Gonna try uninstalling and reinstalling it.

Try typing "snd_restart" in the console, without the quotes.

These don't seem to work as far as I am aware.
