As far as I'm aware, it still works but there are some bugs. The mod hasn't been updated for 6 years

I have turned off normal engrams so that my S+ are the only ones that show up. But that means I don't see the Control Unit. Does anyone know the actual name of the Control Unit for the .ini file so I can add it back in?

1 bug i noticed
the score screen doesn't work, at least for me.
However the unit keeps track of your progress
this doesn't bother me because you don't have to build/place the screen for the unit to work.

i recommend putting it in an area without to many cliffs, gullys or small cracks where small dillos and dodos can fall into because like OSD same problem finding them to complete the wave can be an issue.

and yes it allowed me to build more than one unit (Ottschrott) they are limited to 1 per area though like gotcha sized area

HEY EVERYONE!
I tried this mod and it works for me! it starts out really easy and at first i thought it was lame and was thinking of unsubbing but by the time i got to rank 20 it spawned in a giga x1 alpha wyvern x2 alpha rex x1 and i almost lost one of my mated gigas only 3+ M at the time but still!
this was fun!

I think it's broken by now, sorry. You could try my other mod Brutal Ark which was based off this mod and is still working

Probably has bugs. check out Brutal Ark if you are interested in similar mechanics to CotW

Sad this is discontinued. If I were you, I'd at least make a quick compatibility patch with AutoRewards to give you ARc for fighting the waves of baddies.

Dedicated and Non-dedicated are the most stable. SP is not recommended. Cheers MagnusEffect

Loved this mod. Sorry to see it discontinued. Does this still work for dedicated MP servers? If not, is there another option people recommend?

Thanks Timmy, you did a great job, I have followed this mod for a long time before I stopped playing Ark. Now will start SP again, no more time for MP.

@Stefan I've had people reporting it's buggy in SP, however if you run a non-dedicated session and just make it private it should be ok

Now there's an idea. Make an entire new game based off it... say it's esports ready but inject loads of bugs and glitches into it so everyone gets super frustrated while playing it.

wild theory, you're going to go the playerunknown route and make an entirely new game based off of this mod idea, then claim ownership over the concept of horde modes/tower defense once your game becomes successful :P
