Hey, I think it might be technically possible but it would be unusably slow as it doesn't support the hispeed interface

It should automatically start working once spawned in, then you'd just drag it around to pan. If it doesn't you might be missing one of the addons.

I've seen some examples of colour cameras but they use a different method than this. This is a pretty simple method and only sets greyscale colour based on distance. One way would be to check any entities that it hits and check their colour/texture and match it to a colour but it would be limited to entities it could pick up, probably not the map. You could take it a step further using the ranger hitSky() and hitWorld() but that would only divide it up a bit more to ground and sky and as far as I know that would be as far as you could take it with vanilla E2. For a proper colour one it would probably require functions from an E2 addon or more beefy version such as "Expression Advanced 2" which seems to have the traceSurfaceColor function making it alot handier.
