Mmm oh it's just like my Nonna's spaghetti sauce, only it spilled into the water supply! Now everyone has sauce.

I'm going away for a few days, but Hopefully when I get back, I'll remember to make a black version and a clear version. I also plan on a fantasy light blue style.

I made it a bit darker.

Much too bright to be blood. In mass, blood is much darker.

Indeed it is. I actually made a bright blue fantasy style water at one stage when I was experimenting. And I just uploaded my "Improved Water" mod not long after this one, which has slightly bluer water. I could make plenty more I guess. It's pretty quick now that I know what I'm doing.
