You might want to make a version where the player has to complete the quest in the winterhold college storyline in which you see these weapons before they can craft them.... also you may want to add a description =)

ie with the higher speed and lower weapon damage you still get a much higher DPS than the standard weapons in the game. That you can improve them with smithing much more than the standard weapons potentially adds even more damage potential.

Yes, these items can be found in the game but you can now craft, enchant and upgrade them (Steel smithing). I've also adjusted the speed on melee weapons to be in line with the lower weight. A sword at 3lbs is only slightly slower than a dagger and a two handed axe is around the same speed as a normal sword. The bow speed was not changed.

Craftable, upgradeable, enchantable and ballanced GhostSteel Weapons (Sword, Battleaxe, Bow). They have the damage characteristics of iron weapons, but with significantly lower weight which translates into higher speed and higher damage per second for the hand to hand weapons. You will need the Steel Smithing perk in order to craft these. These use the same models as the Drainblood weapons found in Labyrinthian. A friend asked me to upload these so I did, however I have no plans to continue development.
