THIS MOD IS OBVIOUSLY OUTDATED. Quest doesn't start, I tried with nexus and steam, all last updates, install twice, nothing : I see the 2 kajjits but I can't interact with them.

hey, I just got back to skyrim. I want to play this mod, why isn't it downloading?

Pretty good, has a monsterhunter3, steampunk, indian jones temple of doom feel to it and a decent sample of what could come. Wish there were more Sload creatures to splat that was a gooey bit of sword chop fun.

You certainly can make money from your mods. I like the 'Try It' model of gaming that goes back to the very first days of DOOM 1. A 'Try It' lite mod gives a taste of a new area and one quest, and well to get the other 90% of the Mod, if players like it, they can purchase the upgrade.
That worked quite well in the past, it gives something small to players for free, and for a reasonable $9.99 or less , or more - get the whole mod pack, price it based on the size of your mod. Adding on a whole new continent is a bit different than say, adding on 1 player castle...
All in good fun... because if you don't have fun doing it and fun with the happy community, then why bother ? Go Outside and Play ! :-)

Being a mod maker myself for about 30 years and being on the other side of the fence as well (part of developer side) I know about the laws and rules regarding modding. I know it's rather unfair and horrible, but there needs to be severe work done to fix these problems.

By law a youtuber or thief would be okay to earn from a mod, but the actual creator is not. It doesn't help that the developers add to this problem and eventually killing the modding community and destroying potential talent that would be excellent in the gaming industry.

I withdrawn my mods myself, I won't release new ones and I refuse any developer to get my mods so they can earn from it. Fallout 4 is largely based upon one of my mods and ideas, I never get payed for it or credited. Trust me, I know the problems.

I'm just going to comment and say, this community isn't bad or toxic if you don't act superior to them, and if you don't try to profit off of them. If you want to make money, make a game that stands on it's own feet, don't complain about people disliking a mod for a nearly 10 year old game. Your attitude towards the gaming community in general is what is making your career choice harder. You have talent, but I don't want to see advertisements for paid content on a free mod listing. If you don't want to make free mods, don't. Nobody is forcing you to, and nobody cares if it makes you sad that people don't like what you make. The fact that you think this community is so shitty, but beg for views on your game kind of says a lot, and considering this is where you got your start, nobody is eager to support a developer that treats their previous customers like shit.

If anyone is still having issues, the Steam version of this mod is not the most recently updated version. Head over to the skyrim nexus and download the "moonpath to elsweyr 95beta" from the moonpath to elsweyr page. Be sure to activate the new files in the launcher, or better, a mod manager. Load in and everything should work, though the door will be in a different spot. If the cats don't speak to you, simply save and reload. If it crashes, just load and the cats should speak anyway.

Hey yall did a great job with this mod, I don't usually leave a positive review even if I like a mod because it just doesn't occur to me. However, yall voiced the characters and added unique animations to them, added wildlife that doesnt exist in skyrim which function very well and made the graphics look super realistic in skyrim standards. Bethesda should hire yall to make Elder Scrolls VI if they ever even get around to it. 10/10 would recommend. Only issue is minor glitches but that is pretty standard even without the mod.

I remember playing this mod and it being fun when it was released, the creator sounds like an out of touch tool though. Talks about how he gains nothing from the mod and yet only a few months ago promotes his new game in the thread for that mod. Sounds like you did think you got something, positive publicity and a fan base. Too bad you shit all over that with your bending over for Bethesda. An act, mind you, that has aged extremely poorly given their recent track record. I hope you moved on to more profitable pursuits (which is what you seem interested in). Just don't expect this to garner you much assistance there, given how much goodwill you have outright burned.

I like this mod, it's fun to explore new areas and I definitely think it's something to try out. :) Some things to take note of: feels a lot more linear than the main game, which is a minus for me personally. Also the monsters are WAY too strong, I'm doing this at level 20 and even the river crabs are OP haha! So remember to stock up on health potions and cheese wheels before leaving Skyrim.

Fuck me this is SO BAD I started it thinking it would be good fun! but instead I am forced to play it through, no turning back once you've started. You get railed around from event to event if you can even call them that, they're all just fights with OP spiders, WHY ARE THERE 3 SPIDER QUEENS IN THE SAME CORRIDOR? if there is more than one queen, can you really call them that? don't even get me started on the voice acting, from the sounds of it all voices are voiced by some random white american teenager using his webcam. Then they just throw so much shit at you that you wont be able to run, you also can't go home to dump it off so guess what? you've just waisted a few hours of your life on this cancer. Ugh what a joke

What a shame. I played this mod years ago when it was first released, absolutely loved it. Installed it again today to play it again, but I'm getting a corrupted error. This mod was amazing, really sad to see it die

There is not going to be a fix for this, people. The creator has been driven off by the community, as he was thinking about making mods for living. See above on topic. Which is a shame that the creator has now walked away from everything, the mods has had high regards from everyone who played it.

Im guessing this is why the Launcher is telling me the archive file is bigger than the mod and that it might be corrupted. Such a shame... I've downloaded it through Nexus to continue supporting it but its sad to see so many mods through the Steam Workshop slowly corrupting (ones I've subscribed to at least)

Is it still corrupted? A couple months ago, it had the 0.000MB issue that caused it to not work, but it seems like that's not the case anymore.

The CC is junk and filled with way to many reskins..but for real content like this hours worth of game play yea i can see paying a few bucks for it. DLC mods are worth it. It's what they said the CC was going to be but lied ... but yea people attacking you over it is dumb.. No wonder so many mods on the nexus turn off the comment area..

130k is a relatively small number to the millions of people who play the game. Not to say the number is not insignificant, especially to one person and not a company whom has to deal with the backlash. The point is that they are not representative of the majority. Deciding on whether or not to sell your hard work for profit is no one else's business and personally, I would have sold it to Bethesda. Because the world is not a happy place and you need money to get places and do things you like. This isn't some free utopia. This is a Capitalist society.
