Well, I not played the game quite a while already. Not even investigated for 1.4, just checked that it seems to work.
I will try to check out the current game state and hopefully will find a possible fix. But no promises.

Had a bug where after completing a quest for an NPC he vanished. Kind of a bummer.
Hope there's an easy fix for this.

It seems like when I complete a quest for an NPC that isn't a tenant they just disappear, is this normal? Does this just work by causing NPCS to respawn?

I believe this mod is incompatible with tenanator as it allows you to prevent tenants from graduating but not world-generated npcs. I looked for the problem since npcs were exploding upon quest completion after a few quests as if instead of graduating they died. Just an fyi if anybody else mentions a problem like that

I'm not sure what mod it might be conflicting with but it makes my tenants/villagers explode if I talk to them when they're not offering a quest. If I accidently talk to them because they're in the way of me doing something else they just go splat all over the landscape. Kinda funny at first but now it's just annoying.

It's not working with elithian races, unfortunately. They're all still badgering me (but at least they don't wear the annoying uniform)

btb556 , maybe, Mod affects NPCs by types (villiager, guard, etc.). Except race specific tennats, they will not be affected I think.

Hello! I just have a small question about the mod:
Does it only affect tenants? Or will villagers (in generated villages on planets) won't be able to join your crew too?

Oh no worries, I got her back! I had a recent backup of the world she was on, and just copied that world over. As for quests, I have done a couple (one from a villager who is not a tenant, one from a guard tenant) and neither have wanted a job. Worst thing about bug testing this mod is that if you did it right, you will never know until you know you did it wrong, haha! Thank you!

But if your tenant already in crewmember state, there is no way back. Find new one.

I had one of my favourite tenants ask to join. I am using FU, which should be the only mod that changes this.

UPDATE ver 1.01!
- Mod converted to "patch", so this should bring great compatibility improvement
- Guards fix

Hey. I gave it a few tests, a regular village guard asked to join my crew, which I can accept now.

It seems guards were unaffected by this mod.

Passel, looks like mod conflict. If you have another mods which affects NPCs or adds new NPC types, obviously this will conflict.

hey I just wanna let you know thanks so much for making this mod! it makes doing quests a lot more relaxing and now i don't have to feel bad about leaving an NPC stranded alone in their house lol.. can't wait for the FU patch when you have the time!!

First mod actually can cause incompatibility, because affects recruiting mechanics + my mod doesn't work with non-standard recruits at all.

I guess there's no chance you'd make a version compatible with FU, is there?
Still, it's a big step-up from having half my tediously re-rolled tenants running around in those ugly protectorate anti-rape uniforms asking me to make them the Xth member of the type I already have.
