Good news, TheDrukenScotsman. There may not be a good Buster Sword SWEP out there, but at least you can find a good prop of it.

Weird, I have been working a lot on my server and haven't really had time to look at this. I will take a look at it now and see if I can update it though. Sounds like a Garrysmod Update might have broken it.

This is a server side addon, just like all player models unless they are replacements. This is not a replacement and can only be used and seen in your singleplayer or servers that also have this addon.

Can other player see us like that or is it client side only?

you idiots, that's not cloud from ff7, that's cloud from advent children the cloud you're reffering to wears a purple jumpsuit with a bolted metal pauldron (ps. i'm kind of a final fantasy snob)

I don't know much about porting models from source to UD3 other than that it's certainly possible, however how one would do such a thing is beyond what I'm willing to look in to. I'd still like to see classic themed Final Fantasy VII models instead of the angst-ridden AC style ones, but I guess it's kind of hard to find proper models for them that are up to snuff.
