but I love it

I think more meshes of all shapes and sizes would help define the level further and create more interesting gameplay options. Perhaps there could be a pile of junk that players could take partial cover behind and still fire at minions from afar. Or there could be medium meshes that block line of sight to certain points making players have to hunt down minions before they get too close. One thing you can definitely do if you don't want to effect gameplay at all is to add a lot of small meshes that players wouldn't have collision with. For instance, a pile of gems on the ground that fell out of a treasure chest.
As written in the description there isn't much eyecandy yet so I agree with you that there's not much variety (mostly caused because I created everything only in 1 week). You think there should be more arround the islands?
Took a few screenshots with some of my thoughts. Check 'em out! ;)
An interesting level. I really loved how you sold the Beruda Triangle like theme. I wish there was a larger variety of meshes because you could really get away with it with the level's theme. I didn't like the Purple. It felt way too overpowering and didn't seem to fit despite the rest of the level being fairly surreal. I also feel like you could have decorated much more with smaller and medium sized meshes to give the space more life. I haven't beaten it, but it seemed to work fine wave wise. Also, a goblin and an archer got through my defenses somehow on the first wave. Good work with the level design, because it created a natural diffficulty of sorts.
Good luck in the contest!
