It was a long time since I made the mod, but I do not think I put the fire rune enchantment at a specific position in the game. It should be in the loot tables, but safest way to find it is to use console command additem. The item should have prefix J3X....

For some reason I cant find the fire rune ench in Cragwallow Slope, I can only find the orc dagger on the table with the sacrifice ench. Can someone tell me where the Fire Rune is placed? That said, I love this mod, thanks to its creator.

Where in Agarvunde is the enchantment located? I cleared the dungeon before getting the mod, and I think I looted everything. When I revisited Agarvunde, I could not find the enchantment. Is it on an enemy, or is it in some sort of container?

So if I learn the enchantment Lesser Ward, will that prevent me from getting the Greater Ward enchantment or no?

this mod is amazing! so much fun!!!! i was fighting the ebony warrior, he used unrelenting force and i reflecked it it with my arcane mirror shield and it blasted him right off the mountain! so kool!!

I might be a case that it is a bug, and a very silly misstake by me. I am currently focused on another projects so can not fix it however, It would be pretty simple to investigate it with the Creation Kit.

Btw, I don't know if it was intentional or not but the arcane mirror, even tough it says it gives the same buffs as the lesser ward for some reason breaks way more easly when a spell hits. Again, thanks for your time and if there's nothing that can be done, well... I'll just use the lesser, it's still way better than not having it xD

Yes, Angarvunde is where I found the Ebony Shield with the Greater Ward. But well, if there is nothing that can be done that's it then, a shame tough. I know about the fact that the enchantment doesn't scale with the perk because what the ward enchantments do is cast your wards while blocking, so if your lesser ward blocks 50 that's the power the lesser ward enchantment will have; it scales(if you have a mod that let's your wards scale up)with restoration. And that's the shame, thanks to a mod my lesser ward blocks 70 and my greater 150, and I know both mods work together well because at the beggining when I had the enchanted shield with the lesser ward it only blocked 50 and now 70, but the greater enchantment does the same.

Due to technical reasons lesser ward and greater wards are two different enchantments, it does not scale with your enchanting level. The location of a greater enchantment is described in the readme. Hope it helps!

Hi there, since the moment I saw this mod I was really interesed and I enjoyed every bit of the combat and the new enchantments, thank you, it really is a great mod. But sadly an issue appeared: after completin a Nordic tomb I found a Ebony Shield of Major Warding and I was really excited because I finally found it and now I could finally resist even stronger spells without them breaking my ward, but when I equiped it and blocked and went to the magic effects it tells me that it only gives me the lesser ward effect; I compared how much defense the lesser and the greater wards give me and the one that's active is definetly the lesser. I tought that maybe if I destroy it and learn the enchantment and then use it on a new shield it would work as a greater ward but it was the same; it says that it casts greater but the defense buff is that of the lesser. If other people are experiencing the same problem it would be really nice if it can be fixed. Thank you for your time and atention.

Empty lesser soulgems are automatically broken down.

Yes, some of them are not in the gameworld, only in lootlist.

If you want them you could type in "help j3x" into the console then use "placeatme" to place the magical cheat container with every new item.

I like what you've done here but as OCD as I am to point out (or I'm blind as all hell) not every enchantment on the list has the location where you can find it listed. Where would I find ones like the fire rune or bind battle axe?

Thank you so much. I've been on a crusade to just add as much needlessly diverse but balanced stuff to my game as possible. Keeping those fingers crossed on game stability though :P shooting for 101 mods.

I know the mod lables locations for each specific enchantment, so is it safe to assume that these enchantments aren't added to the drop/equip pool? (IE bandits cannot randomly spawn with them/shops will not sell them/chests cannot have them)

So update, tried to replicate on another character and it worked fine, mustve just been a glitch with my argonian

@J3X nope just the vanilla mechanic. where if you unequip a bow you automatically switch back to what you were using prior (In my case the Flames shield and an unenchanted sword) and then the flames spell wouldnt activate unless I unequipped and reequipped the shield (either from my favorites menu or from my inventory).

@j3X its not your fault if thats how you got it to work. kind of my fault for using the console for level 1500 enchanting.

Oh, that happends because it kind of fires an invisible area spell on you, hitting every enemy close to you. It is a bug, my bad >.<

Do you use a hotkey extension mod, or anything mod which changes how swapping equipmnent works?

I think the Dedicate to Devines enchantment(?) is causing issues when used with very high level echanting skills. I can't equip anything with that enchantment on it without every enemy in render distance becoming hostile and ignoring my sneak skill (100 + several thousand % increases from enchantments)

Other than that I love the mod and I can't understand why these were never part of the game originally.

I find it happens mostly when I swap to sword and shield by hitting the hotkey for my bow.

hmm, do you swap in menu or via some hotkey thing?

ya, bug with the shields, enchant stops working if you use quick swap to bow and back to sword and shield, Can be fixed by unequipping and reequipping but still kinda annoying.

It does not exist anywhere and you need to spawn it.
