Thanks for the video.
If you first setup the run, then there is only one time where you have to time the movement of the cube correctly, so the window for mistakes is considerably smaller. The controller player (one down stairs with the button) can have a huge space to try and control the cube, get a feel for how to do it correctly, and then move it closer to the fizzler and keep it under control.
Using +remote_view in console, the other player can watch this action and then decide when is the best time to set it otherwise. In addition, the top player can use the ping-tool with timer to tell the bottom player when he is going to make his move. Don't forget, its a teamsport. Not just completing the map, but talking about what to do etc.
For a real challenge and more fun, play the map again, and switch roles. :)
I made it so that one player can give the other player quite some room for error, by just presetting things.

There is a green button right under the picture of the map.
It says 'Subscribe', press that button. :)
Then go into Portal 2, and click community Chambers, then Co-op chambers.
